I took the class portion online and did that at home and the skills portion was in the class room and the monitor was Instructing you . It corrects you until you get it right . I spent 40 minutes ventilating the mannequin thinking I was doing something wrong (you only get one…read morehour). I tried calling the number, and it wasn't working. I eventually closed out of the exam and started working on the mannequin on the left side and it immediately worked. I wasn't doing anything wrong, airway was open, mask was sealed, I could see the chest rising. The mannequin just wasn't reading it. It's the one on the right side that didn't work DONT use that one. Such a frustrating experience, I ended up passing but if only one mannequin was available, I would've failed by default and had to pay again.

The teachers and office staff are very helpful and set you up for success. There is no way to fail the class unless you simply don't try. This class was exactly what I was looking for and exceeded my expectations. After the class you will be NREMT ready and have learned more then the regular EMT knowledge, setting you up for real life situations.
