Having a first job as a lifeguard as a youngster and then moving on to teaching, I've have to take CPR and First Aid many times. And everytime it was often brain overload with a bunch of numbers, acronyms and procedural steps. This class was no exception. This place is legit. The staff makes recommendations that can deviate from just the black and white which makes absolute sense. Dennis also mentioned cases in which a human decision might be necessary over what an AED device might be saying (e.g. the AED device still needs to charge after a shock is advised, so compressions and breaths should continue until the device is ready to deliver a shock contingent upon my pressing the button). Additional contingencies were provided which really were enough to make one consider safety during the "assessment" phase of emergency situations. This is the most thorough training I have ever had. The staff stayed with me until the very end. I paid extra for the first aid course just to see what would happen. still informative enough for someone who doesn't know. read more

I took Professional CPR's BLS and First Aid course on January 2, as I needed to recertify and the previous company I used had no openings. As a certified medical assistant, I've been taking courses such as these for well over 15 years. The instructor (Sarah B.) was excellent - very kind, ready and willing to answer any questions, making the newcomers to CPR feel welcome and less anxious. Sarah offered many useful, common-sense tips and techniques that I am sure will stick with everyone who takes her classes. The class size was smaller than other BLS CPR classes I have been in, which was lovely. Everyone could hear and see the course content and instructor easily, and it made pairing up and helping each other fairly seemless, and the class was done about an hour before schedule (always a plus). Snacks were provided. I think I will be choosing these guys the next time I need to recert. Thank you for the great experience! read more

I was a little worried about it being boring long class, but it was the opposite. The instructor was funny and very knowledgeable. Another plus for me were the snacks and coffee they have for you at no charge. I was running late so I couldn't stop for my usual Starbucks morning run, so I definitely appreciated the coffee! Instructor was excellent. However, I needed a AMERHA-216 (Heartsaver) course, and they did not tell me that they don't offer that when I pointed out that I needed whatever the US Coast Guard required. They signed me up, took my money, gave me a cert, and when it was kicked back by the Coast Guard, refused to help me get the cert enhancement I needed, simply repeating "we don't offer that". When asked why they didn't tell me that at the beginning, they mumbled some BS about not knowing. Our instructor was excellent, but the rest of the staff are incompetent, stupid, or liars. In an emergency people panic and the person in danger may or may not get the CPR they need. This "in person class" cannot be replaced by an online CPR class. It was worth the time and money and our instructor was great. We had fun and learned what to do in case of an emergency. Dennis was hilarious and had us laughing the whole time. Just took a CPR class from professional CPR! This was one of the best CPR classes I have ever taken they are up-to-date with her information and all the changes that Covid-19 Has brought too CPR. CPR training is always changing and professional CPR in Modesto was up-to-date with all the information, And up-to-date with all the information in first aid. The classes are small and the rooms are very clean and well-kept and so are all the CPR props. The instructor Dave was very knowledgeable and answer everybody's questions Thoroughly. We had one student in class that is a caretaker to his siblings so his parents have him attend the class in case any emergencies ever happened when he was taking care of her siblings I thought that was a really smart move, The information he learning the class could be life-saving one day..
