My husband and I have a spot down on Camano and we'd previously used another painter down there by the name of Justin. Can't recall which company he owned but he was an absolute mess of a character. After dealing with all the different issues with him, including him breaking one of our trim pieces and refusing to fix it due to "warranty issues", we had to get rid of him. Anyhow, after we left him, we got a referral to Don and his family and oh my gosh what an absolute joy. Total opposite of Justin and his crew. They were polite, incredibly professional, and made sure that we were super happy by the end of it. Forrest, whom is the son, even showed us how to upkeep on some of the things we'd never even thought about! All in all, they were truly sensational to work with, and by far the greatest painters we could ask for on the island. Thank you guys again. Come highly recommended from us.

The person sent to provide a quote was much more than just a salesman. He pointed out several areas that required repairs including some mistakes made by the roofers who installed a new roof a few years earlier. The crew included carpenters that found rotting wood that needed to be replaced, including a structural post covered by siding, and completed the repairs with expert craftsmanship. They were easy to work with, available to answer questions, and kept me informed of their schedule. The quality of the painting was also first rate. They removed things like awnings, gutters, a satellite dish, and other house attachments before painting and made sure everything was reinstalled properly upon completion. They kept the property reasonably clean while the job was in progress and cleaned up thoroughly after they were finished. I will hire them again when it's time to paint the interior of the house.

In preparations of getting my house re-strained I hired a pressure washing company to get rid my stain & clean up my siding. What I didn't realize is they ruined most of my siding by penetrating too deep in the wood. When Premier Painting came to stain, they noticed my stain wouldn't adhere to the wood. After recognizing this, Travis immediately stopped work and called me back to the house. Here he physically stained my house in front of me showing me what was happening. After identifying the issue, Travis and I talked in-depth of my options and he gave me his professional opinion. Since I had an oil-based stain I had to go over it with an oil-based paint so it'd properly bond onto one another. Changing my options from a stain to a 3-toned paint job meant I had to pick out colors in the next 1-3 days! Premier Painting had a strict schedule they had to adhere by so I had to pick quickly so I wouldn't lose my spot in line. Therefore I went to the paint store and picked out what I thought I'd like...Premier bought the paint and primed my house. After realizing what the color would look like from the primer I realized I hated it! Here I had bought $2k in paint and didn't know what to do. Travis again was there to help me. He showed me previous pictures of houses he did in the past and offered further suggestions. One of those suggestions being that instead of buying new paint we instead take the paint we had back to Sherwin and darken it to my liking. The next day he met me at the paint store at 7am and were there over an hour together doing paint test samples. Finally I found something I think I had liked and went with it. He and his crew are highly skilled hard workers with attention to detail completely respect and use care around your entire property as well as inside your home while they assess decks patios and everything else. Raven painting company was easily able to acquire premium Sherwin-Williams super paint for my project when all other contractors who placed bids were telling me it was impossible to get any time this year due to factory shortages damage at some out-of-state manufacturing plant etc. When it comes to a large project like this that you expect to do once every 10 to 15 years it's a big decision and you don't necessarily want to go with the lowest better and unlikely you want to go with the high bidder. Chris's estimate was right in the very fair middle area and he lived up to every agreed-upon term and completed things in a timely fashion working with the weather and absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark. If you have an interior or an exterior painting project you would be doing yourself a great disservice if you did not at least consult Raven painting company and give them an opportunity to do your job

I am seeing a ton of positive things said about this company and that's great, however my…read moreexperience with Legacy Painting have not gone very well and after almost 2 months reflecting on this, I'm ready to share my thoughts. For starters we were looking to have our house painted. We had 3 estimates and based on professionalism and price, Legacy was the clear winner. 2 other positive things I'll say is the guy that wrote up the contract including repairs to the house and the gentleman who pressure washed the house were also good. This is where things get negative. The painters are Spanish and my wife and I are English and all communication was never very clear. There were days they waved goodbye and I replied "all done for the day" and they reply yes. But a few hours later they show up and go back to work. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but we have a dog that's not so stranger friendly and they opened the back gate why our dog was in the backyard. My wife tried letting the woman know "please don't come in" but she didn't understand, causing us to hastily get the dog back in the house. Other issues involving the contract to repair the house were ignored and just painted over what we paid for repairing. My wife tried reaching out to see why this had happened, but we really never got an answer. Parts of the house need another coat of paint, and as far as we know no one ever came to inspect completion and all pictures we take won't show the areas that needed extra work. The last thing I will say and what bothers me the most, we instructed days we would be out of town and didn't want anyone over for any reason. While on vacation are ring camera was going nuts and someone was walking around cleaning up. We had so many issues with Legacy my wife did try reaching out personally, but she never got a clear resolution. Talking to my wife about what we have as a finished product is very disappointing to her. She is the most reasonable person I know and is hoping to just get the paint used so we could just finish ourselves and move on.
