This time they took a dark, dreary downstairs and brightened it right up! The walls were painted beautifully and they stained all the mismatched wood trim into one lovely dark wood. Now the walls and the wood highlight the natural brick elements, rather than competing with them. Chris's care and attention to detail are second to none! Chris the owner w/ Raven painting company just completed the most amazing exterior paint job on my home. He and his crew are highly skilled hard workers with attention to detail completely respect and use care around your entire property as well as inside your home while they assess decks patios and everything else. Raven painting company was easily able to acquire premium Sherwin-Williams super paint for my project when all other contractors who placed bids were telling me it was impossible to get any time this year due to factory shortages damage at some out-of-state manufacturing plant etc. When it comes to a large project like this that you expect to do once every 10 to 15 years it's a big decision and you don't necessarily want to go with the lowest better and unlikely you want to go with the high bidder. Chris's estimate was right in the very fair middle area and he lived up to every agreed-upon term and completed things in a timely fashion working with the weather and absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark. Raven Painting exceeded my expectations! I am quite sure that our project ended up being more work than they'd initially planned on when bidding the full exterior paint job on my 50+ year-old home. (lots of dry-rot in the eves, tons of hand-scraping required on my cedar siding,etc). But the price they bid was the price I paid, even though this 2-day job turned into a 5-day job. The crew were friendly and responsive, and even halted work on one side of the home while my baby was napping. They cleaned up after themselves and were careful around my plants, animals and children. The owner was on-site daily and was SO patient with me when I had trouble choosing my colors. Excellent job, and excellent service. I highly recommend Chris and his team. We gave Chris a call back in April, and he showed up to provide us with a quote for painting the exterior of our home. His estimate was very detailed and told us exactly what he would be doing. The quote was perfect, and we set a schedule for him to come out this summer to do the job. When Chris and his team showed up, his team immediately went to work. During this time we were told exactly what they would be doing, what products they were using, and how the entire process would look like. Each day they showed up on time, with a great attitude. It is very rare to come across someone as passionate as Chris. During his last day we asked him to see about checking out the interior of our house, as we have a hallway that we simply can't climb up and do ourselves. I've waited a while to post this review in hopes that Chris would get back to me but after numerous phone calls and texts he continues to ignore my requests. The pandemic complicated our experience because we had to wait an extra season for them to come back and finish/fix their work. We had already paid them and had their word that they'd come back to fix it (now I wish we would've held the money). The doors that were painted had tons of bugs that stuck into them and they completely missed a section of trim (will add pictures), then they got paint on extra areas and didn't clean it up. Again, we were trusting that they'd come back and they stopped responding to our requests to come finish and fix. The timeline was the end of the 2019 season, so I tried to be super understanding and patient with Covid restrictions with their schedule. Now I've been texting and calling for months and they stopped replying. I was really hoping it would work out but apparently that's not going to happen now. Just be aware. read more

Raven Painting is a fantastic gem of a painting company. We hired this company to paint our whole house exterior this fall. Chris was highly responsive from my first inquiry and promised to get the job done asap, even when we hired him the last week of September...and very near the end of the exterior painting season. During the estimate, Christ came out and gave us a detailed overview of what he would do, the products he would use, and how he would execute the job. The time he took with us during the estimate process, coupled with the fact that his bid was extremely reasonable and lower then most of the other companies we looked at made him an easy choice. During the stripping and painting process, the crew were detailed and fastidious. They worked quickly and efficiently as well. If they came across something that was not quite right, they took the extra time to fix and amend the issue before continuing or at least made me aware of the problem. Our house looks GREAT!
