She…read moreresponded quickly to all text and calls, her boyfriend came at the time specified and covered our floors, steps, and belongings sufficiently to prevent damage or staining from paint. They were finished before the timeframe that was given (more on that later) and left. After the job was done is when things took a turn for the worse. Not only did one of their workers KNOWINGLY ( he made a poor attempt of trying to fix it thinking we wouldn't notice) break an expensive custom made blind that they did not tell us about (we were compensated after we pointed this out), we also noticed NUMEROUS places where they allowed the paint to drip down our wall leaving unsightly clumped up paint, improper sanding of the walls that left a very noticeably different look from one place to next and overall shoddy workmanship. We were also left with a huge bulge in one of our main walls from improper sanding and mudding, the Boyfried came back to "correct" this issue along with the paint drips but only made the area WORSE! We came to the conclusion that these individuals were incompetent, this was confirmed after we consulted with other reputable painters in the area (whom we should have hired instead of Valdes). At least three other painting companies were consulted and they all said the work was incredibly substandard and amateurish. One company was appalled they completed the work in such a short amount of time and stated for it to be done properly it would have required at least 3 more days. I regret hiring these people, I have gone back and forth with Jacky attempting to remedy the situation but we got absolutely no where. I paid over 4K for this job and she offered only $500 in return which will not begin to correct the mess they made. I have pictures, videos, text and emails to support everything that is said in this review. Attached are a just a few pictures for reference, trust me I could post many more. The contractor, Eddie was very pleasant and nice to work with; so I hired him under contract to…read morerepair the leaks in the gutter over my sunroom. He did come originally when he stated he would, and brought a worker with him. They supposedly repaired the leaks, stating that he stood behind his work, and that he would come back if the leak continues and fix it at no extra cost to me until I was satisfied that the gutters no longer leaked on the outside and inside of my sunroom. It still leaked. He returned once, took a look, stated that the under plywood was wet from rain due to the leak and once it dried, within a few days; there would no longer be a leak since he repaired the gutters; no more rain could get in. He promised me that! Several Weeks later, the leak continues. He has not returned, and no longer answers my text messages. F/U, The Contractor Eddie contacted me today, and refunded me a fair amount of the money I'd paid him, and apologized for not contacting me last week as promised. Of course the gutter problem has still not been resolved.
