Then they were able to match the wood and stain beautifully making lovely new legs for this old piano. They also replaced the brass knobs. I really love the hardware they chose. I thought it was spam and reported it, but apparently they are a real account and also not nice like these reviews seem to say. I'm really surprised they would say such mean things to someone who is disabled especially when they seem to repair furniture that is a bit old and disabled too. I would not recommend this company unless you want them to be mean to you.

Although lovely to look at, this couch was shoddily built with a support system made of particle board which we discovered when the whole thing cracked and sank to the floor. Neal came over to assess the situation and although it was not an easy fix he rebuilt the supports with solid hardwood and the sofa is better than ever. I highly recommend this knowledgeable man, he knows his craft. Hire Midern Times, but don't buy West Elm!

Somehow, when hubs and I moved from Westchester to the Catskills in '24, the top corner broke during transport. I couldn't part with this cherished heirloom piece- so I tried to DIY it. Tbh, I'm really not a DIYer- I rather pay someone to do it than me buying a gazillion products to repair something myself. Tucked away in the scenic town of High Falls, NY, Rosado Works is a rare find in a region full of furniture repair shops- but many that don't work on small pieces. While those repair shops overlook smaller pieces like mine, Rosado Works specializes in giving these items (and larger ones too) the attention they deserve. Luis isn't just a woodworker, but a true artisan. He treated that one specific jewelry case with the respect it deserved, carefully repairing the worn look of it, refreshing the finish and bringing it back to life. Honestly, my jewelry case now stands sturdier- hell, even prettier than I ever imagined. I also brought a green painted chair with metal studs on the seat that needed one of its sticks on the back to be permanently placed. And while I tried using wood glue to hold the stick in place, that stick would hold for about a minute and fall all over again. So I needed Luis' help. Again, he went beyond the 'wood glue' because in reality, my chair needed more surgery than that. Just a heads-up: there might be a bit of a wait, as your pieces won't be the only ones on his bench. But he always gets to them- and staying in touch via text keeps things smooth. Totally worth the patience for the quality of work he delivers. Ca$h, Zelle & Venmo payments accepted. If you have something that matters- whether it's a family piece or a flea market find, this is the place to trust with it.

We have also moved a few times, so besides it getting banged up and chipped, it had some water damage from overwatering my plant a few times :( My Mother-in-Law just sold her home and I acquired an OLD goat cart that belonged to my Father-in-Law. It was in good shape, but just had fallen all apart. It needed to be shored up and everything made strong again! They brought both pieces right back to life again. The small table is once again by my bedside in all of it's former glory and the goat cart is all ready to be hooked up to one of our dogs (kidding). I am looking forward to using it to display pumpkins and greenery for the Holidays! The fact that Amanda and Doug both picked up and dropped off the items was the icing on the cake! The store is very small and seems to cater to customers seeking crystals, new age items, and some small glass art creations. Nothing we were interested in enough to purchase, so we didn't stay long. We noted a huge chair as art piece across the street. Paula informed is that she had made the large woven seat for the huge chair art. Four stars for friendliness and unique shop, just nothing I was personally interested in. It wouldn't be a 'must stop' or 'drive out of your way to come here' spot for roadtrippers but if in or around town anyway you may find something of interest here if into New Age things.
