Russ does amazing repair work om a multitude of issues with furniture…read more In my case, he repaired a very large chest of drawers that was dropped and broken in several places, a bedside table that had serious water damage to the top, scratches on a bed frame, china cabinet and entertainment unit. Russ not only repaired the damage but it actually looked new. Russ is a furniture savant and is also as friendly and informative as anyone I've ever had do repairs for me and, I'm a senior citizen. I had to go to work while he was doing the repairs and I left with complete confidence that everything would be fine. BTW: my dogs also loved him.

Russ was recommended by a friend who needed repair of a family heirloom. She raved about the job…read morethat he did for her. So, we called to see if he could repair the water damage on a Harden dining room table that we have had for over 30 years. We had already had another professional tell us that the damage was so bad that it would require a complete refinishing. Russ said that he thought that he could save it. Less than two hours later, he had made the stains disappear and hand waxed the entire table and two leaves. We could not have been happier. He had saved a table that was very important to us. Russ is not only a very professional and skilled craftsman, he is also a very personable and friendly person. We cannot recommend him higher and are thrilled that he was able to restore our table

Somehow, when hubs and I moved from Westchester to the Catskills in '24, the top corner broke during transport. I couldn't part with this cherished heirloom piece- so I tried to DIY it. Tbh, I'm really not a DIYer- I rather pay someone to do it than me buying a gazillion products to repair something myself. Tucked away in the scenic town of High Falls, NY, Rosado Works is a rare find in a region full of furniture repair shops- but many that don't work on small pieces. While those repair shops overlook smaller pieces like mine, Rosado Works specializes in giving these items (and larger ones too) the attention they deserve. Luis isn't just a woodworker, but a true artisan. He treated that one specific jewelry case with the respect it deserved, carefully repairing the worn look of it, refreshing the finish and bringing it back to life. Honestly, my jewelry case now stands sturdier- hell, even prettier than I ever imagined. I also brought a green painted chair with metal studs on the seat that needed one of its sticks on the back to be permanently placed. And while I tried using wood glue to hold the stick in place, that stick would hold for about a minute and fall all over again. So I needed Luis' help. Again, he went beyond the 'wood glue' because in reality, my chair needed more surgery than that. Just a heads-up: there might be a bit of a wait, as your pieces won't be the only ones on his bench. But he always gets to them- and staying in touch via text keeps things smooth. Totally worth the patience for the quality of work he delivers. Ca$h, Zelle & Venmo payments accepted. If you have something that matters- whether it's a family piece or a flea market find, this is the place to trust with it.

I see Paula every year on my birthday and have been the past four years! I drive just under an hour to see her each time and would drive longer if I had to. She remembered me from the first time I went. Her prices are unmatched and her service is amazing. She is so kind! She always has a big beautiful collection to choose from! If I could give her more than five stars I would. If you are looking for a shop with good prices, nice owner and a good selection with great quality, Paula is YOUR GIRL!!! Not to mention she's dog friendly! (Note, just make sure your pup is well behaved! I'm sure she has a 'you break it you buy it' policy.) I hope Paula's stays open forever!!! LOVE YOU PA

We noticed some unique recycled art sculptures out front & stopped in to check this place out…read more Paula greeted us and engaged in pleasant small talk. The store is very small and seems to cater to customers seeking crystals, new age items, and some small glass art creations. Nothing we were interested in enough to purchase, so we didn't stay long. We noted a huge chair as art piece across the street. Paula informed is that she had made the large woven seat for the huge chair art. Four stars for friendliness and unique shop, just nothing I was personally interested in. It wouldn't be a 'must stop' or 'drive out of your way to come here' spot for roadtrippers but if in or around town anyway you may find something of interest here if into New Age things.
