- A MUST READ BEFORE YOU GO HERE!!! I've gone through THREE!! Surgeries here so, I think I can give you the most authentic and honest insight on this place. The first two surgeries were basically flat foot reconstruction surgery and the last one was to take out a plate that was bothering me from my first surgery. When coming here you have to interact with Ms BIANCA. She is one of the front desk clerks who is amazing! She greets you by name when you walk in! I love how she's very personable. I never know how she remembers all these patient names. But yes outstanding customer service. I love her! Next up is Ms. CATHY who takes you back and gets your vitals. She is always nice and makes sure she listens to any concerns you have. She always seems to be in a great mood and you can really see she cares about her job and her patients. Next comes my surgeon, DR. BHAKTA. Now when I first met Dr Bhakta it was very quick. He was not very personable or great at listening to ME. I believe this was because he had serviced my dad brother grandpa you name it. i think he believed he knew that I needed surgery. He was not so great at being patient and listening was not there. I felt like he held my life in his hands my surgeries did not go as planned and I feel my life has been forever changed. Words cannot express how this process has been for me. Let's move on to one of his assistants Ms AMBER in my experience she was the absolute worse. She took out my stitches for my first surgery and was not gentle. She made remarks about how many incisions I had saying "wow he sure cut you up like meat" and continued to laugh at my pain while taking my stitches out. She never offered to console me or stop she thought my pain was hilarious. I noticed one of my incisions were not healed and bleeding and when I brought it to her attention she brushed it off and put a cast on me which later turned into a infection. highly do not recommend her for anything. The only reason I feel she was nicer taking out my stitches from this last surgery was because she wanted a good review. She was kind this go around and even offered to help put on my boot which she has never done in the past. Quite frankly I feel she acts as if she doesn't want to touch you sometimes. I just don't recommend her at all! Moving on to therapy Dr. STEVEN is AMAZING!! He is very personable offers very genuine advice and listens to all your concerns. He answers every concern and question you have thoroughly and knowledgeable. Last but not least My good sus Ms. SHAY I love her. I owe all my recovery to her. There was days I truly wanted to give up and just not push through all of this but she not only encouraged me but pushed me to do and be my best! She is truly a gem. She was very relatable understanding and answered all my concerns professionally and when she didn't know she always got the answer for me. I didn't know that therapy was a key part of this process until she came into my life and I'm truly grateful for her. Overall some of the front desk ladies could get a little more training in professionalism and being more genuine when dealing with patients concerning payments or scheduled appointments. I work in customer service myself I know it can be frustrating but I pride myself in making sure every customer has a great experience. I would not recommend this place! I am still currently in excruciating pain every single day since my surgeries!! read more

I've seen Dr. Jasper to fix ingrown toenails on both great toes. Did them about 4 months apart. He is very professional, highly skilled, efficient and has a way about him that just makes you comfortable. He gets 5 stars and I would recommend him as a Podiatrist any day of the week... The office however... more so their scheduling leaves a lot to be desired. For each of my procedures, the doctor wanted a follow up (f/u) visit 2 weeks after. However, they jam pack their schedules such that it is almost impossible to have that f/u on time. After the first procedure, I was able to secure a f/u appointment three weeks after the procedure. As for the second one, they scheduled me about 5 weeks out! I informed them that I needed to get in at the required 2 week time because I would otherwise be unable to make it as was moving 4 weeks after my procedure. They said they would call me if something opened up... they called me after I had already moved, so needless to say I never got to see the doctor after the procedure. The reason for the 3 stars is that I understand they're running a business and try to get people in for procedures. That's all good and fine. But the people you're having these procedures on need regular follow ups to ensure everything is healing well! We're people! With lives!! You can't just call us and expect us to drop everything on short notice. That's why appointments are made, so that we can plan accordingly. For me, about a week and a half into my healing, my toe started to pus up. They did not have any available appointments. So, I had to turn to other sources to obtain the necessary treatment. Thank God everything is now healed up fine, but I really wish they had a better system for scheduling follow ups. read more

I just had an appointment with Dr. Kumar. He is a very kind caring doctor. Now, with that being said, his front office staff is absolutely horrible!!! They are extremely rude, argumentative, hateful and very very unprofessional!!!! I will not go back to the Mansfield office because of them! Today was a waste of my copay as it was supposed to be a follow up appointment for the results of a test the doctor wanted me to have. He has given this task to the front office to get either the information, to to me or my information to them to get an appointment. This has been a huge issue and after 3 times I still haven't been scheduled for the test. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!! read more

Dr Dan and team do an amazing job of supporting my needs to get me moving without pain and discomfort. The entire staff is friendly and willing to step up when called on. The only issue I had was not being able to pay my bill online, it's all over the phone or in person. read more

This place is the WORST. I wish I could give ZERO stars, because I would not recommend this place to ANYONE! The staff here are absolutely horrible at communication, they are not informative at all, and are absolutely money hungry trying to SCAM you out of your money. I was recommended for surgery after barely even a 2 minute visit. No non-surgical, conservative treatment options were discussed. When I tried to ask questions, I was not provided with thorough answers. I had to pay 75% upfront to even schedule the surgery. After more research, I found out that I was indeed not a good surgical candidate for this procedure. I found many other non-surgical, conservative treatment options that were failed to be mentioned to me. I also saw that it is medically advised AGAINST doing both feet at the same time for the procedure, where they told me here to just do both at the same time anyway. This would have left me disabled. They gave me two surgical boots during the surgical consult. (Which is veryyy rare and unheard of. Most doctors ONLY provide the necessary items needed AFTER surgery is complete.) Upon receiving this, NO ONE told me anything about pricing for this or a return policy. I assumed it must've just been included since no one said anything about me having to pay for it. Upon later canceling my surgery and being refunded.. they then informed me that I had a $250 balance for those surgical boots that would have to be deducted from my refund! Imagine my surprise!! She informed that the boots were non-returnable, non-refundable. So what a complete utterly waste of money. Even the lady from the billing department said she doesn't know why the front desk did not discuss this with me at check out. I knew this place was a scam, horrible, and money hungry from the beginning when I was charged DOUBLE for a copay at my first visit just for being a new patient. Accent Podiatry staff is amazing. The office is very efficient in getting patients in and out. The medical staff explains procedures, possible charges and any paperwork that needs to be filled out. Dr Bhakta has been my podiatrist for the last 4 years. During that time he has helped me get back to the things I use to do. I broke my ankle and foot he has totally reconstructed the foot and it is better than the day I was born. His office staff is excellent and so is the physical therapy department. Great place for foot injury repair. But be sure you need the boot Accent Podiatry suggests. I did not need the boot suggested. I spent $65 on a boot I did not need or use. They refused a refund. The paper you sign showing you received the boot has printing at the bottom no refunds. Great money maker for Accent Podiatry. read more

Absolutely worse front office staff I have ever encountered. They do absolutely nothing for the patient except collect money. Their customer service is NON- EXISTANT . I can forgive them for having system issues and having trouble scheduling appointments, I can even look past them not answering or returning calls. Its not even the end of the world when they called me on random days saying I missed my appointment that I was unaware of having. When I finally got in the Dr was very nice. The reason this is a 1 star is because they made me prepay $150, then still sent me an additional bill for $265.94, for clipping off 1 piece of nail " biopsy". I also got a bill for $250 from a lab. I came to Accent Podiatry 8 months after having a terrible experience at Southlake Academy Foot and Angle Specialist. My experience was not special at all there. My wife and I met with three other Podiatrists in Fort Worth. Those three Doctors all suggested I go to Doctor Dan at Accent Podiatrist. I was able to make an appointment next day and the doctor took his time explaining to me what was wrong, as well as what to do to fix it. I healed up with the right shoes, inserts, and physical therapy at home within weeks. (4.5 Stars) I have done two corrective surgeries with Dr. Ganz from Accent Podiatry and visit his office every week for the past 5 months. He is a great doctor and his team is wonderful. They are very thorough and treat you very well, not like every other ordinary customer. Before my surgeries, I went to a few other doctors to compare and found that they were no where near Accent Podiatry's experience, customer satisfaction, awards, and customer service. The only reason why I'm not giving them a full 5 stars is because I've had problems with their billing department a few times. They fixed the problem though. I was so nervous about having a toenail removed because of a prior experience. Dr Paschal and his staff made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Before I knew it, a partial toenail removal was done, and I had minimal discomfort during recovery. In fact, I didn't need to take any pain meds. Dr.Bhakta is the most caring, compassionate, thorough, personable, understanding, incredible listener and most knowledgeable doctor I've ever met, he also has the absolute best bedside manner, he takes the time to get to know you on a personal level and communicates with you at a level you can understand! When I say he is knowledgeable, he's not just knowledgeable about feet and ankles, his knowledge extends way beyond Podiatry as far as the practice of medicine goes! His office is always clean, the staff is always amazing, personable and efficient! When visiting his office you may have to wait a little bit to see him but thats ok everything else he does so amazingly makes up for the wait time and we always just remember that the extra wait time just means he's being just as thorough with each patient, as he is with my husband!! read more

Dr. Bhatka is exceptional and his office staff as well. Dr. B, performed surgery on my left foot back in 2007 and it was a total success. I was a fitness instructor back then and I was teaching again within a few weeks. He also performed surgery on my sons feet when he was just in 5th grade. My son had some issues that kept him from wanting to move, Dr. B, examined him and analyzed his issues. By the time my son was 7th grade, he was playing football at school and exercising all the time. We have never looked back. He truly is brilliant and has a super terrific bedside manner. I love Dr. Bahtka he is very good and talks to you like you're a friend but their prices are way out of the norm. He did surgery on my foot at their surgical clinic right behind their Arlington office and my insurance company said I was grossly overcharged. The surgical clinic should have charged me no more than $168.00 and I paid a lot more than that. I am still getting billed hundreds of dollars for shaving down a callous and follow up care from my surgery that I was told was covered in the initial payment. Too long of a wait to be seen. Always 30-45 minutes before you are even seen. Dr. Bakta is always great though.
