I came into the office to pick up said order and PEACH, the girl with the attitude sitting on the LEFT-closest to lab window was absolutely ridiculous. She rolled her eyes, was giving the nastiest looks when I asked to speak to the office manager. The office manager also got loud with me because I didn't know the girls name!!! I am SOOO glad for that recommendation, because Dr. Dettore is nothing short of spectacular. His office (well, the office is his wife) doesn't subscribe to the "schedule more appointments than can possibly fit within a day" method. This morning I asked to see him because it felt like I had a respiratory infection (I did). It took one hour for me to leave home, get to his office (2 or 3 minutes away admittedly), have my appointment, drop of prescriptions and get back home to rest. I have been a patient of Dr. Ralston's for over 10 years, and I can't say enough great things about…read morehim. He is very thorough, takes the time to really listen to the patient and get to know about their life style, and he is very current on the medical literature. One example I can give is that he had recommended I get a home blood pressure monitor. My mother was sick at the time and I distracted with her condition, so I didn't get the monitor. The next time i saw him, months later, I mentioned that my mother's illness and subsequent death caused me to forget about the monitor. He then spent time talking to me about my mother, and assessing the need for grief counseling, before continuing on with the medical assessment. (I didn't need counseling, but I appreciated the attention to that). He is very prudent with medications, tests, and other medical assessments. He does not hesitate to order diagnostics when they are necessary, but at the same time he does not put the patient through excessive and unnecessary procedures.

I'm so lucky to have found him and his practice, Primary Care. If you're sick, you can call the same day and they will always make sure to get you scheduled the same day. Dr. Gershberg, and the entire medical staff are excellent. A big plus is the on-site lab services. After your doctor's exam, you can have your labs work done the same day. The office is conveniently located across the street from the Berwyn train station and a 5 minute drive from my house. I highly recommend Primary Care.
