These shoes and inserts are designed for runners and walkers. They have a machine that is able to measure your foot size in width and length and height of arch as well as pressure points. I am not able to bend over enough to tie shoes so the Sketcher type of slip on shoe is what I was interested in. However they have a slim selection of this type of shoe. He tells me I cannot say that and that I'm out of line . Really ? Over 2 mo. Of my communicating with no reply and I'm in wrong. Needless to say I'm still out 60+ dollars for what could be a bootlegged sweater with crumbling letters. Do not shop here with confidence . Again, I did not wear them until my cruise in December, 2016. After two days of wearing them, I had huge blisters and the pain was terrible. I tried wearing two pair of socks, bandages, pads, using ointment, antibacterial ointment and wearing a different pair of shoes. Once I got home, I didn't wear them for almost a month. The blisters started to heal although the skin was peeling from both feet for weeks. I tried them again this week and after an hour, I could feel the burning and see the blisters coming on again. I took them back today in the original box with the original receipt and asked what the store could do for me. They took the shoes back, credited me with the full price. I picked out a pair just like I had before and got $36 back on my credit card because the new ones were cheaper! Now that is customer service! I have purchased New Balance shoes from this store for several years and never had a problem. I think something in the material of the inner shoe might have triggered this reaction.
