Mind you ,this is not a maintenance/ wear and tear issue , but an issue that occurred during poorly supervised installation of HVAC piping .. horrible team management on top of everything else!

And today, with more than half a century of experience behind us, this commitment continues to guide us forward." They don't care about the customer. They're all about their sells. 2 weeks before our closing date we hire a certified home inspector to inspect the house. This was a good thing we did. When we went over the building issues list with the home inspector he said that this is the worse new home he's ever seen. There are issues with the roof not being installed completely, there is a 5" gap between the facial board and the decking all around the house as well as the eves. The shingles sag into this gap and eventually will leak water or critters and insects into the attic. The grading was changed last minute and now the grade slopes toward the house (sod already installed). There was a floor joist the was cut from top to bottom with a 8" gap to route a sewer pile and water lines. This voided the integrity of the engineered joist. The was issues with improper repairs to the sub floor to the point that there was squeaky floor in a new house. So many issues with drywall defects and holes. Every outlet in the house was cut larger than the plate that is suppose to cover the hole. Holes punched through the hardy board siding. Electrical outlets without power, no hot water at all even though gas and electric when to the unit. Gas meter ground wire was cut at ground level. Light fixtures not installed and doors not painted without hardware installed. No flashing over windows and the front door. The list goes on and on. After all this they are holding our deposit and will not retire it just like they did to the people next door that had a similar situation with home inspection. I feel sorry for anyone who buys one of these houses. Run away!!! These are junk houses. Lennar doesn't care, some other sucker will come right behind us and buy. The only reason they have one star is because Yelp won't let me give them 0 stars!! THE ONLY HELP LENNAR CAN OFFER US IS TO REFUND OUR EARNEST MONEY. THEY BUILT THE HOUSE WITH ALL THESE DEFECTS, HOW IN ANY WAY IS THAT OUR FAULT AND SHOULD BE CHARGED $5K. THERE IS NO PROTECTION TO THE BUYER OFFERED. SHOW THAT YOU DO CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND REFUND OUR MONEY. THAT IS THE ONLY DECENT THING YOU CAN DO, OTHERWISE YOUR COMPANY IS EXACTLY LIKE I SAID, THE WORST BUILDER ON EARTH. RUN AWAY... DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM THEM!!

Then wouldn't come back to fix it. Then they would close out or claims without notifying us. The turnover is CONSTANT and the customer service isn't great. Our salesperson was AMAZING, but she left for better hours and treatment.

The laminate flooring is very cheap, LGI makes promises to fix / replace the things on your punch list before closing only to have you call to complain or go on line to place a work order (which gets deleted before anything is done). They will tell you what they want to hear, not what is right and ethical. They have pulled out their sales office so there is no one you can talk with in person. Quite a lot of the homes here are rentals!! Nice neighborhood, ok home, but I've only been here a year -- I'll see in the next year or so.
