I found Dalton and his company through a Google search for Nashville landscaping, to repair a couple of retaining walls at our home. It was a Saturday, and I called the number on his website; got the out-of-office weekend message, so I figured I'd just call back Monday. Well, about 30 minutes later, Dalton calls: He saw my number come in on his phone, and wanted to know if he could be of service. He came out the next week, gave us an estimate (that seemed fair and reasonable), and the next week, his crew was bringing out equipment and getting ready to go to work. The job took 2 full days, and now that it's done, it looks fantastic---far better than it ever did before. His crew aren't just "workmen," they're artists. They rock---or block, and mortar, as was my case. My wife and I were out of town the first day of work, and Dalton kept us updated by texting photos of the job in various stages of progress. Dalton has been amazing to work with as a landscape designer. He offers a comprehensive design service where he creates 3-D images of your current landscape as well as his proposed designs. Our project is on the larger side as it involves the front, side and backyards in our newer home. He did a great job listening, asked great questions and his design ideas were beautiful, fit our property and lifestyle and had many creative and practical ideas we never would have come up with on our own. They did an amazing job for the second time at our home. Our first project was small, the latest one was a complete overhaul of our yard. They added stone pathways. We gave up on grass in the shady areas and he planted lovely shade-loving plants and ground cover. We used sod where we thought we could get the lawn to grow. It is beautiful! We installed a new fence, and they arranged new railroad ties to all along the bottom to make sure none of our tiny four legged friends could escape on doggie play dates at our home. Dalton is a true landscaping professional who specializes in design. I have been SO impressed with his breadth of knowledge abojt different plants and trees. I asked him for 3 things: low maintenance, colorful and rock beds and he delivered within budget and on timeline! He will be very transparent and communicate effectively. Dalton worked with us to put pavers on our concrete patio that was cracked and in terrible shape. We also added a pergola. Of course, it took many consultations to get to the point of actually doing the job but his crews worked quickly to get finished within 3 days. The results are awesome.
