He diagnosed and repaired the leak (very hard work) and left the site clean, with no sign that any work had been done. The price of the work was fair, given the PREMIUM service. They ruptured a…read moregas line using a regular shovel, they ripped up the internet cable causing the whole neighbor to be with out internet for 2 weeks. They were told not to install any heads in the right of way. They did and then they removed it. The overall sales person (RICK HARRISON) who I directly designed my system with, did not communicate to the installation team the type of sprinklers I wanted and where to install the back flow valve. They also had to install a pressure pump, due to low pressure for $1400.00. I specifically told Rick where it needed to be in relation to the electric outlet . I had the outlet installed exactly where Rick said it had to be. I then spent $200.00 to have an electrical outlet installed. When I checked their work after they left. I found an orange extension cord lying on the ground, in a pool of water ,connected to my $200.00 outlet, they installed the pump to far away from the outlet. I again had to pay another $200.00 to move the outlet so the pump can connect directly to the outlet. Then the pump cracked and stop working, the back check valve cracked and had to be replaced. this is after I had them winterize my system. It has been nightmare of a project. Everytime they came out, something was wrong. I finally had to ban them from my property. it is now several years later and the system is worse than ever. I have spent a lot of money in repairs. I basically will have rebuilt the system by the end of this year. Do not use this company. Beware of Rick because he is smooth but does not follow through.Get everything in writing, get a design of your sprinkler System before they install (they want a $150.00 to do so)

Unfortunately, we encountered underground obstructions that prevented trenching so that they couldn't complete the work. They didn't charge me despite making adjustments such as repositioning heads, adding a bubbler, and changing heads to improve coverage. I offered to pay for the work they did, but they felt it was only right not to bill me. This shows their professionalism. I don't know why it's so difficult to find good contractors. I read reviews, I research, the…read moreinitial bid and contact go well, they show up and do poor work. Or they come in and the first job goes well so I hire them back and the second time around, the difference in quality is night and day. I FINALLY hit the jackpot with LA Scapes. Initial contact was prompt; Ashley showed up when stated and did a thorough diagnosis of our yard and issues we were having. The bid they submitted was clear, and exceptionally reasonable given the amount of work needed. A few weeks later, they came in for the first phase of work and when they left we had a yard that was draining correctly, covered in beautiful sod, properly leveled, seeded areas protected for winter, and neat. And when I say neat, I mean there was no trace anyone had ever been in my yard because they blew every scrap of dirt off any surface they'd been on. Even our neighbors commented on how amazed they were at the clean-up compared to other landscaping contractors that had worked on other homes in the cul de sac. Then this week they came back to install a tree line. Now I've seen other companies installing trees and bushes at neighbors' homes. They rip out the grass, dig a hole, drop it in and cover it up. Not these guys! After they cut the sod, they carefully rolled it up to place in other areas of our yard that needed leveling. Yes, that's right--instead of tearing out the grass, they re-used it. Then they tilled, and hand-picked any clumps of grass out of the dirt. Then they started digging, then worked in some conditioner and organic soil. Tilled it up again. Re-dug the holes. Planted the trees, tilled again. And then laid soil conditioner and mulch--which they pre-sorted in a wheelbarrow to ensure it wasn't full of junk. They also overseeded, and after aerating they went around laying topsoil in low areas to ensure the seed would take. After they were done, they watered, and not only blew off the driveway, but the road, the patio, AND the grass at the edge of the mulch. I appreciate that they are meticulous, and they respect our home as if it is their own. Ashley and Justin work hard; I've never once looked out and caught them looking at their phones or doing the job halfway. I have never felt like Ashley did not listen to my questions or address any concerns; customer satisfaction and high quality work seem to be their priorities. They're one of the only contractors I'll even recommend in this area.

A PVC pipe was broken shortly after the install, resulting in yard damage. I was informed the repair wasn't Green Scene's responsibility, despite the work being done by your team. More recently, in late June 2025, I reported another issue and followed up twice -- only to have your team arrive without notice and complete a repair I believe should fall under warranty for a system approximately 9 months old. Yet, I received a $140 invoice. Additionally, I was billed $220 on July 14th for a job completed May 5, 2025. I contacted Mike Hayes & Associates and scheduled and appointment for a consult during the last week of May. We have a big back yard project involving landscaping/grading/design around a pool that we needed help with. William came out as scheduled, looked at the area, took some measurements, etc. He quite honestly wasn't overly friendly and seemed dismissive of any ideas I had. Once he had all the necessary info he said he would get back to me with a plan and estimated cost. Fast forward, its now three weeks later. Not one word from from William or anyone else from the company. I'm not the kind of person who will chase people down to give them my business (and for a big project, nonetheless) so there is currently another landscaping company doing work in my back yard as I type this review.
