Ordered 3 windows from Accu 1 Glass in 2020 under older owners. I recently noticed that my sliding glass door has seal failure and has bad markings all up and down the glass. I called to hopefully get help as i know it is still under warranty it was 4.5 yrs since it was installed. Now new owners took over and they do not have any of my information in the system they and are not trying to help me at all in correcting this situation. As a single mom getting new windows and a slider was a big deal as I don't have money just sitting there ready to just order another sliding glass door. Accu 1 Glass def. left me in the lurch not even trying to accommodate me in any way. I will tell everyone not to order from here as i KNOW i am not the only person with this issue. read more

I am a long time customer of Accu 1 Glass in Vacaville. Frank and his crew replaced all my old 70's windows with upgraded double pane, service was amazing and I called them anytime I needed doors or windows. I am in need again. Reaching out to Accu 1, I am told that unfortunately Frank and his lovely wife have retired and there are new owners. I have been attempting to get work done for a month now thru the new owners and they NEVER CALL BACK! When I can manage to get hold of them by repeatedly calling, they act like they have no idea who I am or what I need, regardless of continually explaining the work needed. I no longer believe "I'll check on that and call you back". Accu 1 has lost my loyalty and I will be looking for a competent handyman locally who actually wants business. read more

Two window installers were out to replace the glass in 2 windows. PROBLEMS: They broke the glass they were to use in one window and the glass was all over our patio pavers (we have 2 dogs and 2 cats-not good). The glass was not properly cleaned up nor did they did not have the equipment to do so. For one thing, they needed a high-power shop Vac and a working broom. We let them use our Shop Vac (not strong enough) & various other vacuums we had in the house but they really needed a strong shop vac. For the one window they did replace the installer broke the window frame mechanism and now the window doesn't stay open or close properly as it is loose from the frame. What a MESS... EEK! Plus we have made several calls to the office to request someone come out and clean up the glass & guess what ... no one answers the phone. read more

I had 2 pieces of glass cut for 2 end tables... I thought I told Cindy the measurements were 12x18... I received the glass it was 12x19... square corners . It was to large. I called her after receiving and she stated I ask for 12x19... which is odd because I wrote 12x18. She then said they would remake the glass rounding the corner. I received the new glass still 12x19 still square sharp corners. I have grandkids I was worried they could cut themselves in the corners. I called back she said she did not say they would change the size but did do dubbed corners. First off she never used that term and stated they can not do round corners. I am very unhappy with the results and now will have to pay again else where to have these remade... the cost was $111 for 2 small pieces of glass very expensive for crap I just have to throw away. When ordering I suggest getting an email and put things in writing or your just throwing your money away !! Not happy at all!! read more

Had a great experience with Accu 1 glass. I needed the bottom rollers replaced on my sliding glass door. Numerous companies either didn't want to do it or simply never called back. Accu 1 not only called back but their price was more than half of what a second company quoted me. The lady who called me back was very professional. Their tech came out and did a great job. Just Yesterday - Crazy story! I had a Merlin Hawk fly into my sliding glass door as it was chasing another bird. As the hawk hit my door it caused the glass to spider. I called around to several glass companies, one in Vacaville - was closed on Mondays, one in Suisun City - told me it would take 2 weeks to repair and one in Fairfield - quoted me a price that was the equivalent to the price of a completely new sliding glass door. To say the least I was very frustrated, but then I called and spoke to FRANK @ Accu~1~Glass. Not only did FRANK come out within 20 minutes for a measurement and an estimate, (also was the best priced by far), but they installed it the very same day! His crew came out and were very professional, very courteous and cleaned up every piece of glass. If you need a glass repair call these guys! You will be satisfied!! read more

Friendliest, fairest, and most accommodating business I've encountered in many years....................and I've been around MANY, MANY years. I was in the area so I just casually stopped in to ask about a shower door alignment problem. Cindy immediately said they had a service vehicle just getting ready to leave Fairfield and asked if I would like them to stop by. I rushed home to meet them and they arrived within 10 minutes. The two service techs resolved my problem and, when one of them called the shop for charges, apparently were told, "NO CHARGE". I have used Accu one glass for many years. Frank was incredible. I recently had a small table top done by the new owners and they brought out the wrong finish and glass edge. It was so sharp that I ripped my arm open on it. When I called to ask for it to be done the way I ordered it, the new owner told me I would have to re-order another piece and she would give me 10% off! Are you kidding me! Our sliding door to the patio became so hard to move over the years, so I called Accu 1 Glass. Two men came over and took their time and did a great job. These doors are VERY heavy, and it is NOT a job for a DIY guy. When they were through, we could slide the door open with a very light touch. Two thumbs up for these folks.
