River City Windows is by far one of the BEST companies I've worked with from start to finish. My project included having 5 original 1986 windows removed and replaced with Milgard windows. RCW is a certified Milgard dealer. Starting with the receptionist in their sales office, Geoff the sales guy, David and his brother who demo'd and installed the new windows...all were very professional and very helpful along the way. I seeked out 3 companies to bid my project. River City Windows and one other were the only ones to respond. River City's bid was the lowest quote for a model window one up from a competitor. It was a now brainer for me to decide who to go with. Once on the job, David and his team ensured everything was tarped off to capture all the debri, very methodical in their demo and installation process, and ensured everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction. Great customer service but they completely changed the look of my MCM Streng windows. They added a white frame around it and didn't tell me. I thought something was different but I couldnt figure out what until much later. I'm happy with the windows but not happy with the white framing. They did not think I'd care to preserve the original design of an MCM home or at least think that I would care. I would not recommend them for MCM homes OR I would ask them about what will change with the window install. read more

We are so happy with our new windows and sliding glass doors. We looked at several company's and decided on River City. They came out to our house and went over with us what exactly we wanted. At that time they measured all the windows. When we decided to go ahead, they came back out and remeasured the windows, just to make sure the measurements were accurate. The crew arrived to install the windows (10, and 2 sliding glass doors) at 8:30am and were done by about 3pm. They also replaced a couple of wood beams around 2 of the windows that had dry rot. We replaced 17 windows original to our home using River City Windows. We received 3 quotes and River City was by far the most affordable while also being the company we liked the best. Mikhail was wonderful during our quote, he answered all of our questions and was very thorough. The time between the measurement and scheduling of installation was only about 2 weeks. On installation day, they were running late but were kind enough to let us know and still managed to finish in 1 day. Dimitri was absolutely fantastic to work with on installation day. The attention to detail was impressive, they even patched the screw holes from our old solar screens, pulled our alarm wires through each window and fixed our 2 sliding glass doors. I couldn't recommend them enough! My parents needed 10 windows and a sliding door replaced, they gave us a very reasonable price for the whole project. During the install they were quick and proficient but ran into a little problem while installing the sliding door. They found a little bit of dry rot where the sliding door would be placed and they offered to replace the whole plank for us for no additional charge. Immediately they made a trip to homedeopt to grab the supplies. They even went the extra mile to treat the surrounding wood with a termite/carpenter bee spray and place waterproof tape down. A year later and the new windows definitely keep heat out of our house. Overall we had a great experience with River City Windows! Best customer service! read more

These guys are amazing. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else. We changed 11 windows and two sliding glass doors. I asked for the sun matrix for the windows that are in the sun for longer than an hour. It made a huge difference. Next to no heat from the sunlight in those windows. Their cost was much cheaper than home depot/Lowes and specially Costco. We added the extra deadbolts on the sliding windows and sliding glass door. Quite a nice feature. read more

Within two days they were here to do the estimate and worked with us to get us the door that we wanted with a price we could afford, even worked on it over the weekend. They were helpful with the design too convincing us to go with the clear door to extenuate the great view we have out of our front door. I reached out to RC Windows to see if they could install a sliding screen door, and they promptly sent someone out to take a look and provide an estimate. I was told that he would be able to install one slider door that would have a flap to cover the distance between the door and the screen so that bugs wouldn't go in from the side. That sounded perfect, and when I asked if new tracks needed to be installed and he said no, I inquired about a discount since that's one less thing to install. I was sent a revised quote for $50 off, which I appreciated, but then the guy calls back and says that that would be for a cheaper door frame. He did not mention this at all initially, so I was caught off guard. Considering I'd like something sturdy, I agreed to just pay the original price without the discount. When he finally came out to install the door, it was not as described. The flap described did not even cover the gap between the door and screen, to which he said it would've been a risk anyway. We were never told there would be a risk for that, and if he did, why would we agree to installing the door? What would be the point of the door if that's the case? We finally concluded that we did not want the door, and he promptly removed it and left. No apology, not a single word. It was like he just left in a huff despite me yelling out "sorry this didn't work out" as he was packing up his truck. I called the next day because I had received an invoice to be paid and explained my situation and wanted to make sure the invoice would be voided since nothing was installed. The gal over the phone cut me off and hastily said it was voided. Such poor customer service. I get it, it didn't work out for them either, but that's not a way to treat people. read more

Mikhail was amazing to work with and the whole entire team at RCW did an amazing job at replace our windows/ doors. I got a total of 21 window and 1 sliding door replaced. Did a good job with window replacement. I had a Milgard window that had been chipped and they were able to replace it. They did accidentally order wrong sized window, but took responsibility for that and expedited the correct size so it wasn't really a hassle. The window has been installed for a month now, looks good and has functioned well through 1 storm to date. They did this job at a reasonable cost. Daniel and Vlad installed 13 windows, several window sills and a slider in our home yesterday. We had high expectations as River City Windows has excellent reviews and the assessment & scheduling processes were seamless. Their level of professionalism from all positions was really refreshing as well. At the end of the day, we were blown away. These two gentlemen weren't just highly professional, considerate and friendly but they worked intently and precisely the entire day. They clearly take pride in their work and it showed. Our old windows were an eye sore due to aging and mold buildup around the frames. They felt pretty inefficient as well. Our new windows are now a point of difference in our home. Overall installation looks amazing and the windows seems sturdy and solid. The installers went the extra mile as well. The caulking and sealing is on point and they repaired blemishes around the window frame areas (drywall that was outside their scope of work). The estimate came back quickly and they provided options for white or black framed windows. I decided to move forward and they came out and measured the windows before ordering. We bought a 1969 mid century modern with original windows and glass sliding glass doors and a lot of them. Having dogs and a child these windows were dangerous and provided no external sound reduction and my husband and I both WTF. We got several quotes, but river city had the best customer service during the quote process, and just an overall good vibe so we went with them. There is a reason this company has mostly 5 star reviews, great customer service and craftsmanship. They have done the majority of our windows and even did a specialty sound reducing glass door for my husband's studio (he is a musician) and it is amazing! The sound reduction outside is as good as a wall! We no longer hear our neighbors outside, just amazing quality glass and doors. The installers were so professional and polite, they even vacuumed the carpet after installation of the glass doors in our carpeted rooms. We have a few more windows left to be done and we will absolutely be having them come back once we are ready for the next set of replacements. Windows are an expensive investment so it is always best to go with a quality company. All the windows we did were slightly above standard dual pane sound reduction and my husband's studio door was a specialty order with an STC we estimate is around high 30's to low 40's. read more
