Avoid them I went to a non Accu dental after Accu dental in Salinas did X-rays they dentist told me I had a large cavity. The non Accu dental dentist looked at the exact same x-ray that was emailed over from Salinas Accu dental and they said I have no cavity and that They don't know what they were talking about. Also, amongst dentists and other people I have talked to Salinas Accu dental has a reputation for charging patients for procedures and treatments they don't need from cavities to crowns. They're violating their medical oath by causing harm. if you want to gamble with your money go there if they say you need a crown or a filling for a cavity I would highly recommend getting a different opinion not from the Accu dental chain i've had terrible luck with them and I am regretting having done business with them read more

i was scheduled for surgery and they could not preform it due to their system being down which i would understand but the fact that they're surgeon is only here once a month-- HOW CAN THEY NOT TAKE PRECAUTIONS FOR EVENTS LIKE THIS? You can expect to have an appointment that means absolutely nothing. We were set for 9:30am on a Saturday, only to arrive and watch a dozen patients come and go while we waited for over an hour. No explanation, no time estimates. We just sat, alone, in the lobby. We tried to move this appointment because of the early slot and were told there were just no other appointments and it wasn't possible. So here I wait, being told over an hour after my appointment that the doctor is finishing up with another patient so I can have my son seen, but I have no idea how much longer that will be. Do yourself a favor and find another provider in your network. This one literally has no regard for you or your time. I went in for an implant by Dr. Lee and assisted by Kiara. They were so gracious and kind during the whole procedure. You definitely want people that are professional and have bedside manners. (Especially when they are drilling into your bone.) The extra kindness and breathing techniques helped me relax so much, I couldn't believe it. Also, the front desk helped me too, Yesenia. She is very kind and thoughtful in the beginning I got a few things mixed up. But she talked to the doctor and got it figured out. I waited a month to get an appointment here for a root canal and consultation after Accu Dental in Watsonville drilled into a nerve. I was on time for my appointment, then I sat in the waiting room for an hour before being seen by the dentist. He then said yes I do need a root canal (duh...that's why I'm here). Then he left and a dental assistant came in and told me they can't do the root canal today but would be happy to schedule me...literally..in a month when the Dr gets back. The wait is HORRIBLE I call this place a week previous to my appointment because they take my insurance and they gave me an appointment at 8:45am... I was here on time 8:30 sharp and the office was closed. Anyways, I filled the forms required and turned in at 9:03 am. I had to sta Nd up from May seat at 9:33 and ask how long is gonna take for them to see me? At 9:40 I was call by the x-ray lady she started speaking Spanish to me and I responded several times in English. After she got it that I prefer English she proceed with my x-rays. She was nice to me. I could hear people in the background laughing and taking so I again, at 10:06 I asked how long was gonna take her to see me. The x-ray lady cameback to me asking if I wanted to comeback on Friday because the Doc. was doing a major procedure, and she won't be able to see me for another 30mins. Of course I say no. I already wasted 1.5 hours here so I rather wast another 30 mins. The end... they don't take my insurance for orthodontist work and the lady who made my appointment at 845 did say they do take my insurance for orthodontist. They constantly cancel your appointments because their dentist or hygienist is scheduled off. They dont notify you that your appointment has been cancelled and they keep sending you auto text reminders to make sure you show up. Received auto tect reminder up until 2 hours before my appointment to make sure I showed up. Not until you show up do they tell you, your appointment has been cancelled. The office staff is rude. Instead of being understanding and apologetic they try to make it seem like its your fault. read more

This was a tough visit for me. I went in for a root canal which I have never had before and my current dentist does not do root canals. This is the only office that took my insurance. I would give them 5 stars if it had not been so hard to talk with someone at all before the appointment. Finally got a text but that ended abruptly before my questions were answered. I almost did not go to the appointment, but thought I have committed so I will cautiously see what happens. The office is easy to find, clean and very friendly. I was so pleasantly surprised. They were very efficient and I loved my dentist. I will have to find his name. I have phobias and they worked around my anxiousness which I did not have very much because they made me comfortable. Despite the online reviews I had seen about this office I thought I would give it a chance. I had my insurance change it to my primary. I did all my research on this office as I usually do. I have a long history of being in dental offices. And have lots of crowns in my mouth. Well when one of my crowns finally gave up on me I tried calling my office to get seen. I called and called and called for 3 days. They send a text saying "we missed your call, we will get back to you shortly". But I never heard back. So I called my insurance to thinking maybe they were closed because of COVID-19. The insurance called and was able to get through and set me up an appointment. Wow! That easy. Why did I have to call a third party to get an appointment set up??? I finally go in and I'm seen the doctor says he can get me a temporary crown that day and in 2 weeks a crown. I was so happy and relieved. The. The financial person comes in and says the crown is going to cost me $650 out of pocket. Whhhhat!? No thanks what are my other options?? There isn't any. That's the only crown they work with. A more superior crown than porcelain. Ok, I get it if it was a front tooth, but the last molar in my mouth??? Idc how it looks. The metal crown I had in there lasted me like 20 years. I'll probably have dentures in the next 20 when the new one gives out. No where on their website does it say they only work with one type of crown. No where. I did my research. I'm gong back to western dental. read more

I don't know how these people stay in business? I went for an estimate weeks after I sent them all the info they asked for. The day of my appointment, they called me an hour before to cancel on me, how unprofessional! its now the next day and everything seems well until I go to get my estimate. They tell me they couldn't get me an estimate because they don't have the insurance info I sent them. I ask them why didn't they ask me for it before my appointment so I could get my estimate on time! They just say to send it again and that I still have to call to tell them when I sent it so they can look at it. I then said wouldn't do all that because they should know how and when to look at an email instead of me telling them when to look. they made me feel like it was my fault that they misplaced it. I got the truth out of the Indian Dr, she said that an employee that no longer worked there put it somewhere and they didn't know where to look. Also, the receptionist agreed with everything the Dr was saying as if I was wrong and she was right. then I was told to call for the estimate after I sent them the info again. I tried calling seven times to make sure they received my insurance info but they never answered! I had to go in person. After 3 plus weeks of not getting a call for my estimate, I was fed up! The whole staff is amazing!! I have anxiety and it had been some time since I had visited the dentist. Every interaction I had was a positive one and everyone was so understanding. The dentist gave me several breaks during my root canal. There was communication throughout the whole procedure. The dental assistant was also extremely patient with me. I returned for teeth cleaning, and again the staff was so warm and understanding. Super thankful for all of their support and for putting up with me! Thank you to all of the staff! I have been a patient at this place for many years, but it's time to find a dentist who can meet my needs when I need them, and not when the dentist is back in town. I have a crown that's about to fall off that they put in a year and a half ago. But I have to wait until Saturday because the dentist only flies in once a month. I was just told to be careful and to try not to swallow it if it falls off. This is the second time a crown comes lose from this place. The people here are nice, but I can't be walking around with a lose crown trying not to swallow it every time I eat. You would think they would have a backup plan; like sending me to another dentist who can see me right away, but no. Nothing like this exists here. The actual procedure by the oral surgeon was outstanding, however, the billing department was a nightmare. Be sure to get everything in writing and don't listen to their song and dance about "we don't know what insurance covers and doesn't cover." There was nothing complicated about the wisdom teeth removal, but trying to get a straight answer out of the office staff proved impossible.
