The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.

I have seen a decline is customer service across the board so I was waiting to be disappointed again. Boy was I super surprised at how knowledgeable and professional Alex was about our HVAC units. He serviced and cleaned both units and replaced capacitors in both units. We are, from now on, on a maintenance plan with Custom Klimates so we don't have to worry about when our units need to be serviced, they handle all the future scheduling. We were very pleased and highly recommend this company.

With all these new computer driven devices there wasn't to much I could do. Checking for a blown fuse was about the extent of my trouble shooting skills so I placed a call to Fritts Heating and Air. Fritts himself (owner)showed up in the blink of an eye. A very nice easy going guy with years of knowledge and expertise. Appearing that the thermostat was bad he had to go to the warehouse to pick up a new one. Once back replacing the old one began. He let me watch and ask questions and just had and interesting conversation about anything and everything. Well strange the new one didn't work either. So after so quick troubleshooting in the basement furnace he found a defective in line fuse blown. Replacing the fuse and low and behold, success the thermostat was working. So being the nice guy he removed his unit and put the original back in. Problem solved. So in closing after spending hours in trouble shooting and traveling back and forth he only charged me for the service call. Absolutely amazing! I was lied to by the company about their pricing. When I called to inquire about the cost for a…read moreservice call, I was told the service call was $89 and with that the technician would diagnose the problem and quote the repair cost. At that time, I could choose to do the repair or not. Instead, on 06/18/26, the technician charged us an $89 service call and a $177.50 diagnostic fee. There were no repairs done. There was no diagnostic work done. He looked at 3 thermostats and stated they were set incorrectly. Unfortunately, I had to leave halfway through his visit and was not at home when he was done. My wife felt pressured to pay the inflated charge. The total was $266.50, instead of the $89 I was originally quoted by Premier's call center. When I returned, I called the company to request a refund and spoke to three different people. The last one said they would have someone contact me. That was Thursday June 18th. When I had not heard from anyone by Saturday, June 20th, I left a Google review. The company responded to my review and asked me to send them an email about my complaint. I emailed the company to respond to their request on 6/23/26 and stated my complaint. I was contacted by Mike New, who stated he was a Manager with Premier. I attempted to explain the situation but was cut off repeatedly by Mr. New. Eventually, Mr. New said the conversation was through from his perspective and advised me to file any complaints I felt necessary. Mr. New stated he felt my comment on Google indicating I would be filing a complaint with the Office of Consumer Affairs was an attempt at coercion to get Premier to refund my money. This is incorrect. At the time I posted my review, I had not heard from Premier for 2 days after they stated someone would call me, so I thought that was the end of our conversation. My review was a report of my experience with the company and what I intended to do as next steps. After my review was posted, they reached out to me to continue the conversation. Had Mr. New not been aggressive during our conversation and let me explain without interruption, he might have better understood the situation. Regardless of his understanding, the company misrepresented their pricing to me. The price for them to come out and diagnose my system was not $89. Instead, they charged $89 plus a $177.50 diagnostic fee for a total of $266.50. The real price Premier Indoor Comfort Systems, LLC charges to diagnose a system is $266.50 and not the $89 they told me on the phone. I feel this is deceitful and fraudulent pricing. I would not have chosen them had they told me the true cost of their visit. The complete cost should have been divulged on the phone and by the Technician when he arrived, not at the end of his visit. I feel the $89 service call as originally quoted me is a fair price for the technician being at my home less than an hour. My original request was for the $177.50 to be refunded. I originally thought this was perhaps a mistake. However, it appears this is standard operating procedure. I do not recommend them.

I made an appointment to have my AC inspected. I was told the technician would arrive between 12 PM…read moreand 4 PM the next day. There would be an $89 dispatch fee for the technician just to come make a brief inspection, despite that I live less than 2 miles away. I asked if there was any way to give a more specific time frame so I wouldn't have to block off 4 hours, and was told no, but the technician would call when they were 30-45 minutes away. The next day, 12 PM - 4PM came and went. No call or text. No technician. I set aside my own time, work, and plans to accommodate their schedule, and it they couldn't even do me the courtesy of an update. At 4:51 PM I received a call from the technician saying he was "about an hour" away, like everything was totally normal. I said no, that the service window was from 12 PM - 4 PM, and I was cancelling. No apologies or explanation -- they just asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said no. This is not a business who respects their customers' time or patience. I am somebody who takes time to look around for reliable, fair, and respectful services to do business with. This is not one of them. Ultimately, this is a managerial problem for not keeping tabs on their appointments and technicians and poor communication with their customers. Unprofessional and embarrassing.
