The company vehicle, license plate #36795B3, was being driven with a complete disregard for safety. The driver was aggressively passing vehicles in the canyon, driving recklessly, and forcing other vehicles off the road. This type of behavior is dangerous and could have easily resulted in a serious accident. When an employee is driving a company vehicle, they are representing the business, and unfortunately, this driver's actions reflected very poorly on the company and demonstrated a lack of professionalism and concern for public safety. I hope the company takes this matter seriously, investigates the incident involving vehicle license plate #36795B3, and reminds its employees that no destination is worth risking the safety and lives of others on the road.

Since we got home warranty, we contacted them and they sent Thomas Plumbing to come out on Sunday immediately to remedy the issue. We appreciate the quick response and the guy assure me he will order parts, report back to home warranty company and take care of the issue. A month later and couple phone calls to Thomas plumbing, our water heater is still not fixed. We contacted the home warranty company and they said they are waiting for the Thomas plumbing to send them technical report on the update. Fast forward over a month later on May 15, we finally got contact from Thomas plumbing and asked me bout the issue. The person said he's new and the previous person who supposed to take care our water heater quit the company and he's taking over his work load. He said send him message and he will fix our heater. I sent him message regarding about our water heater and haven't heard back from him. Now, June 17, we are dealing with our water heater that works intermittently over 2 months of restarting over and over to get hot water. Finally we have a friend who knows about water heater came take a look and fixed it for us by replacing parts. We should have done that long time ago instead of waiting for so call professionals from Thomas plumbing. Learn from my mistake and stay far away from this company.

He told me that they weren't even clogged pipes, just some stuff caught on the drain plugs themselves that built up over time. Then we got the bill. They charged us $159 for that 15 minutes. Even if we throw in drive time that is over $300 per hour. When I called to bring this issue to their attention, they did not wish to help. The young lady was polite but informed me that according to her owner, for drains they charge a flat rate, regardless of how much actual work goes into it. Flat rates make things easy but I would humbly recommend a pricing system that reflects the amount of work that is being done. In summary, I would not recommend Thomas for anything related to slow or clogged drains. They might be good for larger jobs as their hourly rate ($80 per hour) seems competitive and they are nice people. But stay away from their flat rate services. Those seem like a money grab to me.

First off, they have serviced our septic tank over the last 15 years. They emptied, we fill it…read more lol. This year, after 50+ years of septic use, it was time to upgrade. Two of the original lids had deteriorated to the point that they were unable to close. There are two septic tank companies here in Bakersfield that do septic tank installs. One company said that they wanted to change the original equipment but that in the process my entire front yard would be a mess and that I would have to replace my front door sidewalk, our newly planted Chinese elm would possibly not survive and our fencing may be disturbed because they would need to put in several hundred feet of leech line to the back yard as well. Thank God for Kangarooter! Kangarooter proved them wrong. When requesting the permit for the new septic tank Kangarooter requested the same style of septic tank that was original to this house. That request did take a bit longer for consideration due to soil testing and the county due diligent in the process. I'm grateful that Kangarooter requested that type of system. He could've done a leech line which could've made the job quicker for him and his payment would've been sooner but he did what was best for our yard and home. Additionally it was less expensive than the other company. Friendly, transparent, professional: the owner and his work crew. Couldn't be more happy. We highly recommend this company.

Two servicemen from their company came out and opened up our septic tank underground system . The on site estimator representing the company gave a quote. He stated that we had to have our septic tank piping, parts, etc. replaced at a cost of between eight and $12,000. My wife asked him what was the specific problem and what did he see to justify the work he claimed needed to be done for certification. He gave us a blank look and told us that the work would include major work to include digging up the complete septic system components where the system piping was ran. He couldn't give us any information of what findings were to justify the work that he claimed had to be done . My wife asked him some basic questions relating to the conversation and he felt threatened by being arrogant in his response, and turned red in the face and walked away. She then spoke directly with the foreman since the estimator was rode and had an attitude because a woman asked him common sense questions which he couldn't answer with a straight face. The foreman stated that the owner would reach out to us by evening. The owner as of today Sunday Feb 9, 2025 has not responded. Kangarooter obviously is not a company with integrity. We didn't feel comfortable at all with this company and felt that the representative of the company out in the field was only here to rip us off. Thank God, my wife is a God-fearing Christian and told the gentleman to leave and that we would have a second opinion from another company to come out . The following day, my wife scheduled an appointment for another local septic tank contractor to come out and give us a quote what it would be to clean the septic tank . The representative of the company didn't find any issues with the tank where in fact there would be labor intense, replacing parts , piping, etc to dig up the whole yard and replace piping for the septic tank. All that had to be done was service the septic tank at a cost of $1000. To include septic tank certification.
