We had a drain stoppage that involved a toilet and shower backing up. The water in the shower went over the shower pan level so we had a slight leakage in the hallway. How about a major plumbing outside pipe-break on a Sunday night that shuts off water to the entire house! Ever try to get a plumber in Tehachapi under those conditions? First off, Tony from AEQ is very responsive and shows up on time for initial estimate and day of install. He walked me through the install and where equipment would be installed. He provided a fair estimate and detailed the individual pricing and breakdown for each aspect of the project. He fixed a leak for our toilet by changing the wax ring, he didn't apply a sealant after, and he said it's not a standard. It's an extra service we have to ask for. He charged us $29 to replace a bolt and nut. We asked why the upcharge, and he replied "you should've seen how disgusting your toilet flange was" which is unprofessional and rude. read more

Visiting my mother in law for the holidays, noticed the the tub needed a new trap and shoe, Tony was able too come out the next morning and replaced the trap and shoe, while under the house Tony was able to see that a majority of the pipes needed to be replaced. We also had Tony replace the shower valve, handle, tub spout, shower head. Turned out all the pipes were galvanized so Tony had to replace them as well.
