Very unprofessional. Did my taxes and put the wrong SS# on the taxes I had to sign a power of attorney then call to check on the status to find out the person who was assisting me was not there anymore. Signed another POA so they could correct the issue then begun to get IRS requests for payment due and 8% interest added for over a year. Found out when I called again the two other POA's were no good and signed another one. No call backs no follow up's and has left a very bad feeling. I will not go to them ever again or suggest anyone I know to go there. read more

I recently had a very positive experience with them calling to correct any of the problems that I had experienced in their office. Meeting in the middle with the stars given... I went on their website and requested a call back putting in all my info. 2 days later I hadn't gotten a call back and gave them a call about 11-1130am and they took down my info and called me back about 530pm. They asked alot of questions and then quoted me almost $700 for just me (no spouse) , 2 State W2s, a new house and 1 child. I felt like that was a bit a high quote. read more

I'm in the process of starting a business and just gave them a call for an initial consultation. The woman who answered the phone literally started laughing and said it's tax season and they don't do consultations, but I could drop off all my information if I wanted and went on to say, "I guess I could look around to see if anyone has time to help if there is anything in particular you wanted to know." If I could give this business 0 stars I would. After a shift in our business partnership I turned to ABTS for our business' books and taxes. I had been working with Mark closely on pur books amd all seemed well. Then I believe it was Susan who stepped in for our taxes. She was literally a nightmare. She told my husband we needed to change out EIN because of the partnership change. We did research and talked to the IRS who told us we didnt have to. We were very concerned how this would effect our covid relief money and future loans. She basically yelled at my husband, then hung up on him. Then threatened not do our taxes a week before they were due. We changed the EIN. And it has been a nightmare since. The IRS, the SBA and our current CPA all say we shouldn't have changed our EIN and didn't have to. It was the most unprofessional experience. And we are starting still dealing with the consequences. read more

Had my tax info for 2 weeks but DID NOT PREPARE THE RETURN AND DID NOT TELL ME IT WOULDN'T BE READY DESPITE MY EMAILS & PHONE MESSAGES ASKING IF I SHOULD FILE AN EXTENSION!! Finally, the morning taxes were due, I got a kind receptionist to have someone call me to say the return wasn't ready. Incredibly, when I walked in that afternoon, there was ANOTHER client complaining of the exact same treatment!! Two of the accountants were yelling at him that they'd tried to call but his "phone was weird" & denying that he'd left them a message. They even followed us into the parking lot to continue to argue that they weren't at fault. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATIONS WITH CLIENTS. read more

Not accurate!! The mistake made on my taxes was so major, that prevented my ability to close on my dream home. A mistake was found during the closing process by the bank and due to this, I lost my ability to buy a home. Not only that but I lost even more money because I had already paid for several inspections and official documents while in the process of homebuying, that I wont get back. Double LAME!!! read more
