I contracted them for entire roof system replacement. Despite what it was in contract they did not inspect and replace flashing and put holes in it in a way I got leaks in the garage with the first heavy rain. I lost quarter of my garage ceiling to water damage. Thomas brought all the excuses in the book to not take responsibility and actually want to charge me extra to fix flashing. I am not sure how much faulty flashing is still in the roof system. After 14000$ spent I am with a leaky roof. Stay away as they are very unprofessional and rude. Thomas is a pushy sales person, promises you the best service and never delivers. We had our roof done in 2016, then in 2019 our leaks started. When I contacted Thomas for repairs, he insisted on charging us $190 just for the visit!. When he got here, he insisted the leak was not from his work, but from bad gutters. This went against all my other estimators opinions. His shoddy work left our baseboards to rot underneath the new shingles. When I asked him to repair the baseboard, his answer was for me to have the gutter installer fix it. Terrible customer service, and not an honest company. Very strange experience with this company. Raised lots of red flags. I had scheduled an appointment, but nobody showed up. Fine, so I called the dispatcher who couldn't figure out who my appointment was supposed to be with. Okaay, not sure why that would be a challenge, but it happens. So then the dispatched connected me with one of her people, who said he wasn't the one that was supposed to come, but that he was "close." Two hours and multiple phone calls, nobody had showed up. He was always "close." At that point I cancelled. He (politely) argued with me that he had just spent all day waiting for a contractor himself. I suggested that while he might be that patient about sloppy service, I was not. Maybe other people have better experiences and I just got a dud? I don't know, but there are plenty of people out that that manage to show up. read more

I recently had my roof replaced by Accurate Roofing & Siding. Having this type of thing done on your house is always scary for multiple reasons. Having dealt with many contractors in the past, I am very pleased with the level of professionalism, promptness, and responsiveness. You may pay a little more, but the quality, thoroughness, and turnaround are worth it. I first got in touch with Mirek for an estimate on a Friday regarding a small leak in my roof. Mirek didn't waste any time getting up there with his ladders, taking measurements, and taking pictures of the issues to show me. He provided a consultation on what needed to be fixed including noting some issues with my gutters (more on that later). He walked me through the different options and prices and didn't push the higher priced options over the lower except to say that the materials were obviously better. I also told him that I was leaving for a business trip next week and that I'd really like to get this taken care of as soon as possible and Mirek said he'd try his best and that his crew could get it done next week. I had other contractors lined up, but I was impressed enough with his professionalism that I decided to go with Accurate on the spot. Saturday comes along and I notice that there is some interior water damage in my dining room. I take down a bit of the wall and discover that the sheathing in this part of the house was completely rotted away from water damage! I immediately called Mirek and got his voicemail, but he called back within a few hours and scheduled to stop by Sunday morning. I'm very appreciative of his responsiveness and helping to coordinate additional work on a tight schedule. Sunday morning, Mirek and I discussed various ways to remedy the problem, the work that needed to be done, scheduling, and rough estimates of materials and labor. Monday morning, the Accurate crew shows up and by the evening, most of the roof was already done. Mirek's siding guy comes out from another job to take a look and eyeballs the work. Well now it's Tuesday and what can I say? In two days, my roof has been replaced and the front sheathing from my house was replaced and the siding put back as if nothing had happened. The drainage from the problem area has been totally redesigned and I'm confident that it will be able to prevent the same issues from occurring again. I'm thoroughly impressed with the turnaround time and the work that was done. The Accurate team also didn't cut corners. Damaged plywood on the roof was removed and replaced with new plywood instead of just putting down the new roofing over a base that was in sub-par condition. Throughout the process Mirek was in touch and communicated with me and consulted me on what I would like to do with his suggestions as well. Mirek expertly coordinated all parties to ensure that the job would get done ASAP and from my own project management experience, I can tell you that it's no easy task to get everything flowing so smoothly with different teams working together in lockstep. Because of the excellent planning and coordination, the job was able to get done in just two days. I've been using Accurate for years. Their quality used to be great but it's gone downhill since they switched to cheaper labor. On their last job, they put a nail through my living-room ceiling and destroyed some of my vinyl siding, which I had to fix myself when it started flapping in the wind. I searched on Yelp for roofing companies in my area. Of the initial group I selected I cross-checked reviews on Angie's List and other sites. I scheduled an appointment with Accurate Roofing and Thomas came on time. We went through all the different options for the things I needed done and he gave me a very good quote. His crews came on a Monday morning and were able to adapt to having to replace all the sheeting on my roof, not just in selected areas as we originally thought. They completed the entire roof, over 3200 square feet, in a day and a half. The gutters and leaders, plus gutter guards, took another 1/2 day. They did a very thorough and excellent clean-up job. I found no nails or pieces of the old roof anywhere. The house looks brand new. A completely professional job and a really enjoyable experience working with Thomas and his crews. I had called to request a quote to fix a cracked flashing on my roof yesterday and heard back from Tom very quickly to discuss my issue. I was asked to send him a picture of my flashing the next morning (today) which I did and heard back within a matter of minutes. We were able to set up a house call since he was in the area. Tom arrived within 10-15 minutes of our phone call and was able to fix my issues, as well as another one that I had noticed as well in a very timely manner. Since I'm not familiar with roofing, it was very refreshing for Tom to explain what he was doing and things that he noticed as well. We needed a gutter cleaning and repair of a flange/gasket around a venting pipe in our roof. Mirek came by and gave a very professional estimate and quoted us an accurate and reasonable price. Then Wojtek (pronounced VOY-tek) came and executed. It was over 90 degrees. In one instance, I watched him from inside my house, through a window that looked out onto a lower part of my roof. I saw Wojtek use his leafblower clean out a portion of our gutter. Then he actually went back and checked his work. He saw a *single leaf* that was still in the gutter and he bent down and took it out by hand. He was that thorough and professional. Had two roof issues, Thomas correctly diagnosed the problems and fixed them both. I thought I needed to replace the flashing around the chimney and another roofer inspected the roof and gave me a $2500-$3000 quote. At that price i decided to get a second estimate. Thomas, at Accurate, inspected and saw that there was nothing wrong with the flashing but the chimney itself had cracks in the stucco which needed repair. In addition by blowing all the debris off the roof he found the gap in the flat part of the roof which was causing the second leak. He fixed both problems for $1000. Thomas clearly knows roofs. Accurate was the most responsive and thorough. Accurate also gave some extra options; since this was a big spend, I wanted it to be the last for my roof.
