Had a great experience with Ace... quoted over the phone reasonably and made an appointment. Drop off and pickup smoothly. Took a couple hours to do it and the results were fantastic. They are very pleasant to deal with and definitely recommend them to all. I have taken multiple car there in the past two years and can safely say their work is excellent.

My driver-side window got smashed, so I needed new tint. My usual mechanic quoted around $100, and other shops I called said it starts at $100, or $50 for just one window. Since I drop my daughter off at college in this area every morning, I called a tint shop near the campus. Over the phone, this place said $30 for one window, and $10 if removal was needed -- no extra fees. They said it would take about 30 minutes per window. I showed up about an hour early for my appointment, but probably because it was Presidents' Day and they weren't busy, they took me right away. The Korean owner and his staff made the shop feel very welcoming and comfortable. Most importantly, the work was very professional. They finished the first window perfectly in about 30 minutes. Since I had time and they weren't busy, I asked them to tint the other side window as well, so they would match. Normally, there would be a removal fee, but they discounted it this time. The total came out to exactly $60, including tax, and both windows were done in about an hour. They were very friendly, did a perfect job, and the receipt also works as a warranty if anything happens to the tint. No wonder all the other Yelpers give them 5 stars. I highly recommend this place. The owner also mentioned another shop next door for Llumar films as they expand their business. I hope their business continues to grow and succeed.

Would give this place 10 stars if I could. Paul and his team did such a great job with my tint. I first reached out to Paul to get a quote on ceramic and carbon tint options. Unlike other shops I contacted, Paul went in depth with all the tint brand options and price points, and he provided information about the different UV percentages and what not. That's all to say that he was super thorough in explaining my options. I ended up going with a carbon tint on my side windows and rear windshield, and Paul was able to squeeze me in that same week. On the day of, the Ace team got my tint done in maybe 35 minutes. When Paul noticed there was some water left on my floor mat, he personally wiped it up and apologized. He also taped my side door so I wouldn't try to open the windows while the tint cured lol. Service overall was great, and it's evident Paul and his team take great care of each car they service. Will definitely be coming back here for all my future tint needs.

This is the second car I've brought to Ace Auto Tint for window tinting. I've always gone with carbon film on my previous cars, this time Paul took the time to explain the advantages of 3M ceramic tint, better heat rejection, clearer visibility, and longer durability. By far the most professional tinting team I have ever met. Young and the other two gentlemen who assisted me went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the service. I stopped by the shop to inquire about pricing for tinting my F-550 work truck. 11/10 would recommend this shop! They are very knowledgeable and helpful when deciding what options to go with for your vehicle. Mine specifically had factory tint and they made it easy to understand the best option for the look I was going for. I called a few shops in the area and none of them could beat the price that Ace Auto was offering, but don't let that sway you, the product and work quality is definitely there. This is so upsetting . I used to bring all my cars here to ace and never have they done this horrible of a job . I waited for a long time so I expected the job to be done correctly . I called to let them know and they told me they already knew that they had done my car tint like this so "they didn't need any proof or pictures" . Which honestly sucks. They tried to act like nothing was wrong and didn't tell me because they didn't think I was going to say anything ? Shady. This isn't okay and from now on will be taking my business somewhere else . I first learned of Ace Auto Tint while I was across the street at an auto repair shop for another car and I happened to ask if they had heard of any good PPF/Window Tint shops in the area for my new car. Even though there was a window tint shop right next to them, they said they heard a lot of good things about Ace Auto Tint across the street and that they referred a lot of customers there. I had time to kill while waiting so I walked across the street and had the pleasure of meeting Paul. I was still early in the research process of which PPF and tint products to put on my new car and he was super helpful answering all of my questions during this visit and a few subsequent phone calls. I ended up going to another shop else because I wanted a specific manufacturer of PPF and window tint for the back five windows all done at one place and they don't currently carry the brands I was looking for. However, I did come back to have them install 3M Crystalline 80% on my windshield. Paul greeted me again and the job was done quickly and cleanly. They were by far the least expensive quote I got for this high end film and they are an authorized 3M shop. I was initially a little worried about putting tint on the windshield but it is practically invisible and it makes a huge difference on the amount of heat coming in through the windshield. This is my 2nd review! I had Ace Tint work on my car and add ceramic tint and it came out beautiful. But months later I scratched the passenger window with metal yard signs. So I took my car back to have it redone and add sunroof tint as well as the front windshield tint. The shop offered to redo the scratched window generously for free and added the extra attention to detail on my front windshield and sunroof. My car looks so good! I am very happy with the results the quality work and the extremely good price. It was a quick turnaround time too. I dropped my car off at 8am and picked it up at noon. This is my 3rd car i bring here the customer service is above and beyond and to infinity!!!!my wife was not happy at first becuz the tint looked to dark but once she stepped in the car she realized it wasn't to dark and befor she realized it was good the manager wich I didn't get his name was offering to take it off if we weren't happy with it but luckily we wer very happy about the work and I never have issues with there tint still going 3 years strong no bubbles or peeling so quality is good for the product they use .....and price is great other places try charging double so with there great prices and lifetime warranty was a no brainer to keep bring future cars here .....front desk girl was very nice and informative as well gotta give her credit as well and I didn't get a name but next time I will get a name ...thank you guys at ace auto tint !! read more

When your car stereo and back up camera you spent $1200 for goes bad 1 year later good luck on them helping you. They will simply tell you it's out of warranty and out of their hands nothing they can do about it and then try and sell you on another radio and camera. Not going to lie, first time i brought my car in the tint didn't turn out great. Brought it in and Paul took a look and he looked just as surprised as i was. He went ahead and replaced the tint and it came out looking good enough! Same thing happened with the windshield but instead of just replacing it they gave me the option to go with another film since the one i picked wasn't coming out great. Moral of the story is You can trust them, even if you dont they will take care of you until the tint comes out perfect. read more

Ace Auto Tint is an honest family owned tint shop that really takes care of their customers. Right off the bat, their pricing is extremely competitive for top quality materials. We got our Highlander tinted with 3M Ceramic IR and it looks fantastic, so much so that we came back and had the sunroof tinted as well. They are remarkably efficient and had the whole car tinted in under two hours. They gave great recommendations on the various grades of tint and didn't try to upsell us anything; the price that was quoted over yelp was the price we paid. I was so impressed with the quality and competitive pricing that I referred my friend to get his windows tinted at Ace as well. I will definitely take all my cars here in the future! read more

I am very happy with the service that was provided by Ace Auto Tint! Staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Their attention to detail was incredible! My 1998 Toyota Tacoma w/ a camper shell, got a big facelift! They wrapped it in Satin black, ceramic coated the vinyl, tinted all windows, put in new Pioneer speakers, a Viper alarm, and a Wolf box rearview camera! It looks absolutely incredible!! History

Established in 2021.

Ace Auto Tint was established in 2021 in the Fullerton area but our roots dive much deeper. Young moved to the United States from South Korea and worked as a 12v trainee. His coworkers introduced and taught Young about window tint and he quickly developed a passion for it. After years of dedication and focus, Young bought a shop of his own in Southern California. After running the business successfully for over 25 years and making a mark on the tinting, wrapping, and ppf installing industry, he decided to move all operations to Fullerton and started what you see now as Ace Auto Tint.

Window tinting has always been fun to me. I started my own shop over two decades ago to build a better life for me and my family. I am grateful for the journey and customers I have met along the way. I am proud to be a window film installer and to serve the Orange County area.

We had agreed upon doing "Llumar Air-Blue 80" on the windshield & Stratos 30 on the front windows.. (highest end of tint quality they offer) Upon my arrival, i explained to Chance that i am VERY particular about having a balanced shade all around my vehicle, with the front windows matching the factory tinted rear windows.. Chance pulled out a tint-meter & the rear windows read 25% factory tint... "Llumar Stratos" offers shades in 15% or 30%... Not 25%... Meaning, my windows would be either a tad lighter or darker... My heart wasn't sold on this... Chance told me that 25% WAS available, but in the "PINNACLE" series (one step lower, & cheaper) that sounded like a B i N G O to me !!! Moral of the story, Chance did what would make the CUSTOMER HAPPY FIRST, instead of prioritizing his margins ... iF that doesn't win your business, then nothing will. Anybody talking bad on this shop or Chance is a straight GOOFY. Clean spacious air conditioned facility (chairs if u need to wait) with clean restrooms, with free bottled water... "Cleanliness is next to godliness"... Clean Facility = Clean Work... The Air-Blue 80 on the windshield is SO SO dope! its POLARiZED! its like wearing glasses without wearing glasses ... I mentioned the oil spill multiple times. They said they would be able to help me out and put extra attention in that area. I also mentioned that the back upholstery might need to come off to clean the part where the seats fold and that there are wires. I asked to confirm if they are comfortable with that. Replied to me with "I'm sure we can take care of it even with wires". The owner told me in person they tried to get between the seats as much as possible (didn't bother with the back upholstery of the seat). After the seat dried, my sister went on a drive with me. Her jeans had some of the oil stain transferred. I checked with a tissue paper and none of it came off. It's still greasy and smelly. Left him a message and asked if he can take a look at it again with his team, but left me on read. Edit: Of course, owner provided a reason for leaving me on read and declines second inspection. Misunderstanding could have been remediated with a quick follow up letting me know he is discussing logistics with his team and needs some time to respond. Edit: For anyone considering this business, please be aware that their Terms and Conditions include a clause requiring you to agree not to leave negative reviews if unsatisfied. This type of clause is illegal under the Consumer Review Fairness Act (15 U.S.C. § 45b) and is void and unenforceable. I was planning on getting the mid-tier tint, but after using the demonstration box, I decided to upgrade to the XR Plus, which has even better IR blocking. Logan TRANSFERRED the price match discount, which I got for the mid-tier tint, to the higher one! They also offer a very generous one-time insurance payment that covers you if you get a ticket. They will remove the tint for free AND install a different shade if you like. All in all, I had an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at Evolve, and I really feel like I got not just the best price, but also the best service. They quoted me way under anyone else that I had called prior to going with them. I will recommend A-1 Muffler Express to all of my friends and family. They all make you feel that you're part of the family. They offered me coffee and cold water while I waited for my car to be done. One thing to remember, they are experts in mufflers, exhaust systems, and not any other type of work. But it never hurts to ask if they can do it for you!

I will be honest. I would have rated this shop 3.5 stars if Yelp allowed it, but since it doesn't, I'm giving 4 stars. I did not want to give 3 because the customer service was truly outstanding. The main reason I deducted 1 star is because of the consultation process regarding the film shades. I focused on choosing the right type of films but I didn't realize how important the shade would be until it was too late. I was hoping for a more thorough and balanced consultation. Some of the advice I received felt a little subjective and didn't quite match my actual experience. For example, I was told that 15% on the front sides wouldn't be too dark but it turned out much darker than I expected. I was also advised that 50% on the rear might not provide enough privacy, so I chose 30%, but now I feel 50% would have been more than enough. The same goes for the windshield. When I asked about the blue tone on Llumar 80, I was told to either go with 90 or 70, so I chose 70. Later today, I saw my friend's car with 80 installed, and the blue tone was hardly noticeable. I wish I had been told that 80 is almost clear and the blue tone is not very noticeable. I was told 70% would look almost like clear glass but it doesn't look that way to me. It still looks nice but I wish I had been given more detailed guidance, especially regarding night visibility. Overall, I feel a little sad that I'm not really satisfied with the film shades I ended up with. Another thing is that after the installation I noticed some hazing on the front especially at low angles and strong glare on the rear window. My friend told me this can happen before the film fully cures, which makes sense, but it would have been very reassuring if the shop had mentioned this upfront. Lastly, my Tesla's white interior had some noticeable stains on all four door panels after the tinting. It seems the panels weren't covered during the process. Luckily, I was able to clean them with leather cleaner and a brush but I do wish more care had been taken. On the positive side: 1. The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and even offered me a discounted price when his prices are already very competitive in OC. Really appreciate this! 2. Scheduling was amazingly fast. I contacted them on a Tuesday and they fit me in the very next morning. Awesome! 3. The entire job (windshield, all sides, and rear) was done in about an hour when I was expecting at least three hours. Amazing! The tint seems to have been applied well overall and I'll update once I see how it settles. Overall, while I am not fully satisfied with the shades I ended up with, I still appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the owner. I would definitely recommend this shop to my friends. I will just tell them to come prepared with research on the shades they want. read more

After narrowing it down to three potential shops, I reached out to the first two, but their lack of professionalism and poor customer service quickly turned me off. Thankfully, that led me to Ace Auto. I believe I spoke directly with the owner, who was not only polite but also thorough in answering all of my questions. After discussing the Groupon offer, he explained my options and their availability, and after scheduling, followed up with a text confirmation. I even received a reminder the day of my appointment, which was a nice touch. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted and walked through my tinting options. They gave me an estimated timeframe, but to my surprise, they finished earlier than expected, even with several other customers and it being a holiday! Just had my 2025 Toyota Sienna tinted at Ace Auto Tint and couldn't be happier! From the start, Paul was professional, honest, and super informative. I really can't say enough good things about the team at Ace Auto Tint. After seeing their shop near my house, I thought I would give them a call to see if they can install tint at my house. I'm so glad I did. After Paul stopped by to check out what I needed and provided an estimate, the team came back a week later ready to install.
