unacceptable customer service from sheila (store manager)…read more do not go to this location!!!!!!! i experienced unacceptable, unprofessional, confrontational customer service from sheila (store manager) @ copperas cove location. upon entering the store @ 6:59pm (door was unlocked) sheila yelled out "we're closed" sheila failed to represent the company with her ridiculous and unprofessional attitude towards a customer. i had to remind sheila to say hello (greet the customer). she responded with an attitude (hello, how can i help you? ) failed again!!!! sheila failed to redeem her professional rapport. i informed sheila to do better and request to find the next opportunity to support the customer. They Screwed up and didn't even own the mistake and now i'm out of money due to Extraco taking out fees. I have banked with Extraco for years. I had all of my direct deposits from my job going to them. I had lost my job and at the beginning of the year and had to change my acct to an acct that would charge me maintenance fees. With that there were only a set amount of transactions I could do before I would be charged fees. Well once I started working again I went into the Harker Heights Extraco branch to get forms to set up my direct deposit with my new job and to change my acct back to bonus banking. The woman that assisted me stated that she will take care of everything I needed done. I stood there as she typed and then she gave me my voided check and told me I was all taken care of.I walked out under the false pretenses that my acct was changed. I set my direct deposit and started trying to pay my bills. One of my family members was set to have surgery today and I'm in charge of paying the co-pay. I went to check my acct and saw that fee were taken out 4 times. When I called to talk to a banker about this she said that she would have to email the manager to look into it. I stressed to her my situation and the urgency of me needing my money back. Long story short I spoke to the Harker Heights manager and she displayed no compassion or understanding whats so ever. I was basically told sorry for you luck and I didn't receive my money back for the fees all because the banker that had helped me failed to have me sign a paper. My family member who is very bad shape is paying the price of all of this!! I never would've thought a bank could be so evil and heartless!! If I were anyone I wouldn't bank with them at all!
