Started off as usual, loading items into the triple-load washers. Tried to use the credit card machine but it wouldn't work for one of the washers--could only get an error message. Unloaded that machine and used a different one. Started all the machines via the cc option. Immediately one machine began to leak water down the front and a puddle formed on the floor. I texted the service number but ofc the machine is locked on and continued to drip. I noticed then that there were water marks on the bottom portion of the front of the machine; it appears water leakage has been a problem for some time. After the laundry was done, I loaded it into three dryers. One of the dryers did not work, but it was happy to take my quarters and not return them. There is a sign posted on the wall that the owner does not want patrons to put signs on broken machines. You are just supposed to send a text. If you DO place a sign on a machine, it will be removed before the machine is repaired. That is a really despicable "policy". Owner has an ethical obligation to inform patrons if machines are not working. S.O.P. for coin-op machines. Due to the fact that 4 of the machines I attempted to use were not working properly or at all, I sent a few texts to the service number. Owner responded to the first text regarding the puddle forming on the floor, but no one ever came to clean it up. Had to laugh at the owner's responses to other reviewers who complained of losing money. Owner asks if they texted the service number; Ace will be happy to help. Yeah, right. I DID text the service number. And guess what? No response and no refund. I urge anyone who uses this Laundromat--for the sake of other patrons--*DO* POST SIGNS on broken machines if at all possible so others don't lose money, too. The only reason the owner could have for refusing to advise customers of broken machines (and refusing to refund ppl who have lost money) is that the owner gets more money by keeping the inoperable machines a secret. In a word, it's theft.

I brought it back to them and the woman that came over to speak with me had the AUDACITY to say that this is how it was brought in to her. She kept insinuating that the dress had been worn numerous times and that she did not damage the dress. I tried to explain to her that if there was any pilling from friction caused by wear, it would only be in certain spots on the dress; and not like it was all over the dress. She insisted that her dry cleaning machine would never do that. I have to agree if that had been the way it was cleaned; but it was not. Obviously, it was washed and then ironed improperly and that is why it had pilled all over the entire garment. I was never rude or loud when I spoke with her and she had the nerve to say that I was rude b/c she didn't like that I was telling her what she did wrong and ultimately ruined my dress. Prior to this situation, I brought a suit in and when I went to pick it up with my receipt in hand, the young lady that was there could not find it anywhere. She finally found it and told me that they had lost their portion of my receipt. They are pathetic. They do not have a clue of how to run a DRY CLEANING business nor anything about customer service. She knew what they did wrong. She took out a lint roller to try to get the pilling off of my dress, but it did not work in the least. WARNING: Do not bring any sweaters to this business as they are not dry cleaning them. I am not the only one that they have done this to according to the reviews. I love their dryers as well it's 25 cents for 7 minutes. There are tables to fold your clothes on as well as carts to use to unload the machines. Considering that the price is negligible, I never checked my bank when I went there. Today I learned that they count on that and it's my intention to stop it through whatever channels are necessary. These people stole from me and they should pay just like any other thief. Let's use today for an example. Today, I went and washed and dryed my clothes. The machines told me it would cost $7.00 for the wash and $2.00 for the dry. I went to my banks app and found out it was actually $12.00 for the wash and $4.00 for the dry. That's a small but proportionally large example of them stealing from me. There were no signs saying it would cost more or that there would be any fee and there was no separated fee. Just charges to my bank account that.m were higher than what I was I told which is, by definition, stealing or "fraud" which is how I will write it in my report. The point is, don't go to spin city if you don't want them to steal from you because they will. If you don't believe me, go there, use your card and then look at your account. If enough people did that and realized they were getting ripped off, we could solve this problem as a community. I'm all about supporting small businesses but I'm also all about exposing thieves who steal from me. If I'm effective, this review will be outdated. If I'm not, you're being ripped off by Spin City laundromat. Maybe they are using some loophole I'm not aware of but if I can prove fraud, this will stop.
