Plumbing problems are emergencies and having sewage line back up is a dire emergency. We called several well-known companies and, without much inspection one of them returned an estimate of $1000. Unlike the high-priced companies, he was friendly and was here in an hour. There was quite a mess facing him and he gave me an estimate one-fifth of what the big boys gave. To compound the problem, we have a private sewer line so the city will not take care of it. This was turning into a bigger job but Joe proved to be tenacious. He wasn't going to be defeated. After working on the house drain to the sewer pipe, he saw that the problem was further down in the clean-out pipe in the field. He had to walk through snow banks and then drill and grind away at tree roots. He did that for 600 feet. Now the drain is as smooth as glass. Yes, he had to charge a bit more but not much more. Joe is the best! Called him for help with my outdoor hose spigot...in the course of the conversation he said he primarily fixes drains and asked if i had any drain issues. We can't say enough great things about Ace Drain and Joe. My husband luckily ran into him on a Sunday afternoon at Home Depot looking for something to unclog our pipes. We had an outdoor gutter downspout leading underground that was backing up. I took Joe up on the offer from his webpage that he will clean any drain inside or outside the home as our regular plumber did not want to come out for the job. I had a clogged main drain when I took my morning shower and it backed up into my basement. I called ACE about 8AM and he had one job in front of me.
