Somebody came last week and checked the list of electrical work we needed done. He told my husband he's going to text the quote the following day. Fast forward to today (over a week later), we still haven't heard from them. My husband has called a few more times the last week and not a blip from them. I texted the owner's number last night and told him my hesitation in posting this negative review due to their extreme lack of communications. Still no response. As much as I like supporting local businesses, I'm also one who leaves reviews based on our experience (negative or positive). I don't recommend them and are now on the lookout for another reputable electrician.

They no longer care about the small residential customer no matter how long we've been loyal to them. Our home a/c stopped working on Wednesday. They did send out the service guy Manny who just kept saying how "we should have bought the extended warranty service contract when we bought the new system in 2020 and so even though the part is under warranty their labor is not and wanted $2800.- for 4 hours work plus the refrigerant! I asked for an itemized bill SEVERAL times and never got one because they were severely OVERPRICED. I shopped @ and got two offers- one for a thousand dollars less and one for half the price- from companies that weren't afraid to itemized their charges! Also they said it would be a week for the part. As seniors in the Texas heat that is absurd! Other companies took the extra effort and got the part in a day and installed it before our elderly bodies were melted into the walls. Remind me why they never offered a senior discount or even honored the 10%labor discount our contract said we have. Not a word. I hate to write bad reviews but this one is important for people to know if you are not a commercial contract no matter how loyal you have been they will no longer provide good customer service and will severely overcharge. I read many of the Yelp reviews and found almost all of them to highly recommend Luis as he had done lots of this type of work. First let me say that I was extremely impressed with Luis' professionalism, responsiveness and value for the work being done. No matter how many times I texted him with questions, he quickly responded. Once he came out, we were very happy with his excellent installation and he explained everything to us about how to properly use the generator inlet once the job was completed. Luis installed a generator inlet, an additional electrical sub panel, home surge protector and a soft start system on our air conditioner compressor. He did an excellent job and everything took him about 4-5 hours, which was amazing. So if you're in need of a licensed electrician, I highly recommend Luis and 3 Guys Electric for your electrical needs.
