If playing racquetball and swimming laps are important to you, then it might be worth it. They just raised their rates and I'm not able to see any upgrades. Very few spin class options. The bathrooms are very run down, especially the men's, where there is no privacy. The men's open showers are right out of a 1950's military barrack. The ventilation is bad, so the smells coming from the one toilet stall mix with the steam and fill the whole bathroom and changing area. And though it's not the gym's fault, some of the gym members have very bad hygiene standards in the bathroom. The age demographic generally skews 65+. You can potentially save hundreds of dollars per year elsewhere.

When I asked them if they could help me out they said no since the request to cancel wasn't in writing.. when I asked if there was anything they could do I was left without a response. I understand I should've noticed the $30 charge on my card monthly but I honestly didn't there was a lot going on inside of last year personally. My reservations however are with the lack administrative discipline involving physical altercations at the gym. I was stretching upstairs on the second story room and I observed a man very large in stature begin shouting at two young teenagers. The teenage boy had accidentally used a piece of equipment that the man had previously been using. As a result the man had a complete conniption in which he began swearing, using profane language ,and actually verbally threating the teenager. The boy was frozen and apologized yet still the man ripped the piece of equipment from his hands and repeatedly threatened the teenager again. I immediately reported the infraction to the staff and I was informed it was documented and passed along to management as well as the surveillance footage reviewed. I also provided my phone number in case admin had any questions or needed any more information. The two teenagers were also interviewed. I called to follow up in regards to what action would be taken against the belligerent gym member and I was informed he was contacted by phone and reprimanded however his gym membership was still active. As polite and well mannered as these employees have been towards me I cannot support a facility that will allow such inappropriate behavior towards two individuals that are essentially children. If you're considering joining this gym and bringing your family I strongly urge you to reconsider. This is not the type of treatment or safety system I would feel comfortable in especially on account of their tolerance for volatile and belligerent behavior. Again was satisfied in every other way and would be happy to change my review and renew my membership should things change, but safety measures are very important and this was neglectful.

Most aerobic machines come with a TV on it and there are also a couple of flat screens mounted around the bottom floor. On the second floor (more of a loft) you will find the spin bikes and a rower as well as a few other pieces of equipment. They do a couple of classes here that are included in the membership - spin, boot camp, and yoga - most of which are early in the morning (think 5:30 or 6:15 am). There are 3 spacious bathrooms, all of which have showers and one of which includes a sauna. The free weight area is smallish but has all of the equipment you need to get a god workout. My only real complaints about the gym is about the music. They have today hit's (i.e. to same 15 songs) blasting at all hours of the day, which makes it hard if you didn't bring your headphone and don't like Katy Perry, Kanye West, or Bruno Mars. Even if you do have headphones, you probably won't be able to hear whatever you were hoping to because it's pretty loud. Other than that, it would be nice if there were so more class options for those of us that can't bare the thought of getting out of bed at the crack of dawn.

First, they had me get a note, which was understandable. However, once I got the note, they stopped responding to my emails. When I went to see them in person, the owner just pointed me toward a sheet of paper with a number on it and sent me on my way. So much for exceptional customer service. I guess they're only willing to help you when they have your bank account number available. I was really, really disappointed.
