I saw the tv coverage of the store recently, and remembered to look for it while the family was skiing in Aspen--and, and we hit the jackpot in getting to meet Richard! We spent more than an hour with him as he toured us through racks of skis from the 1800's, 1970's, 10th Mountain Division era and beyond. I happened to ask if he had something special related to Winter Park--he walked to a drawer and produced a beautiful watercolor, hand-signed and in near mint condition. My husband and I bought it on the spot and promised to visit him in Frisco next. He and his staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. If you are looking for something unique--call!

They simply took $8 from the till and told me that was what I got for my 3 framed ski prints. What? How much did they sell for? When? They had no idea and they seemed to care less that I was even asking to answer the simple math on this. Then I was told some story how the computer was down and the owner wasn't there...
