They were able to offer a cup of coffee (no charge) and let us know that in a couple days they would be up and running behind the counter .... more info to come on those offerings. Now, on the store side of things they had some cook home décor and boutique shop type items(purses and jewelry). Really friendly and easy to work with. Prices were reasonable and the store (even in a little bit of disrepair with some active construction going on) was neat, tidy and well organized. I'm guessing once they get everything finalized it will be full steam ahead - and I'd anticipate good things to come for A Primitive Place.

I had even actually considered just walking out as no one even noticed me at the register for several minutes. I was literally within 2 feet of an employee restocking and she only spoke to her coworker. Would it have been so hard to say "sorry for your wait" or "thank you" after my purchase? Person who rang up my items didn't even seem to want to be there. It's a shame, as I have enjoyed previous shopping experiences there.

I used to work retail and there is a way of doing that it's called hiring more people. And when they hire people from another country, they should really know how to speak English and not look at you and say I don't speak English when you ask for something.. Went to Walmart to purchase paint for our 9 year old son's room. He wanted stop sign red. I hated the thought, but he wanted red....and when the 9 year old wants red, just shut up and get it. We put on 3 coats and it still looked like crap. Went to Sherwin Williams looking for wallpaper to cover the monstrosity. Justin talked us in to a different kind of paint.
