I had amazingly quick fast professional service from Bill and I cannot speak highly enough about him. He came in and had my locks. My lock opened in about 30 seconds. He was amazing! Ladies... if you are ever leery about calling a stranger to come to your house to do some work for you, rest assured Bill is the man you hope to get! I needed a locksmith to repair or replace a simple lock on a storm door. Granted he was quick, and on time. How ever he charged me such an outrageous fee that I will never use him again. He came out, was here 10 minutes, stated the lock needed replaced, and charged me 145.00, just for that. I ordered and paid for the new lock, so he returned, here again maybe 10 minutes, installed it, and charged me 125.00. The kicker is just when he was leaving to come to my house he got a call for an urgent job. I would put money on it that he charged BOTH of us that ridiculous fee. So, for a simple lock installation, he charged 270.00 total, and that isn't including the price of the new lock, which again I paid for. So a total of 300.00 for a simple lock on a storm door. I was in a jam and leaving KS the next day. I called a few other companies and was directed to Ace. Called William (the son) who agreed to meet my tight timeframe. I lost the keys so we had to 'break in' to my house. Was interesting to watch. Once in, we had 9 locks to change. We chatted while he worked away and before I knew it, all 9 locks were re-keyed and I had a BUNCH of keys! Fair price, good competent fast service and I'm a happy camper! read more

I have used Ace Locksmith twice in the last year, because my landlord doesn't have a key to one of the locks on my apartment door. The lock got turned the wrong way accidentally, but luckily I was able to call Ace & they arrived in a very timely manner both times! The first time, the locksmith who came got it open in just a couple of tries. The second time, the locksmith got it within seconds! Great service, super easy to access, just call & pay when they get the lock picked! I will call them if I ever need another locksmith in the Topeka area. (I'm sure I will..... EXCELLENT service, excellent price. I locked my keys in my truck. I called Bill and he arrived as quickly as he could to help. In a matter of 5 minutes, my truck was opened and I had him cut me a spare key to boot. All for $60.
