Today started rough and ended up a really great experience. There was a marked delay at the beginning of our communication and I was upset. They kindly got back to me anyway and offered to come out. When he got here, he got me back into my car, cut me a spare door key , and replaced my broken spare programmable fob tonight. He even helped me figure out the keypad code to my door so I don't end up in this position again. He earned my amended review, above and beyond. I like supporting family owned businesses, too, so bonus! Great value for the price. Met all my goals for today and then some. read more

My husband called said he was on the way before he got there we got the door unstuck about to leave saw him pull my husband let him know we didn't need him so next thing I c on the phone from this person is as follows ( fuck you bitch ) so I called his number and said cuz we didn't use your service u say that Very poor will NEVER use them if I had no body else I will make sure ppls I know don't use them read more

Just overcharging for defective products.

When he arrived he had all the proper tools to paint including ladders, extensions for rollers, the trim wedge for corners and precise lines (we provided the paint and some brushes). He even created his own contraption that protected the walls from any sort of damage while using the ladder at the tall heights as an a-frame ladder was still too short. It was a pleasure having Steve work on our home. He was clean, efficient, professional, and a very nice guy. I will be reaching out to him on any future project we will need help on. Just have to say, I was extremely pleased with the availability, response time, and service from Gateway Lock & Key! I was in a situation: Shut the door to my house and realized my keys were not in my hand. Panicked, and waiting outside with my infant son, I called the first person Google pulled up for: "Locksmith , Topeka". I explained I was on my way to work, waiting for my carpool, and would not be back till late. Brandon took care of everything. Very accommodating, very efficient, very organized! He met me at work, with my keys, my home safely locked back up, and I was able to pay him at that time. If that ever happens again, I wouldn't call anyone else!!!
