I am in a fairly delicate state and had a heavy oxygen concentrator, portable oxygen tank and some other take-homes to deal with. My dearest friend did research on MEDICAL transportation companies, and when she called PRESTIGE, she was surprised when the owner, Luis, answered the phone on the first ring. She immediately established a rapport with him and knew she had found the right place for me. My discharge day arrived, and IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE CASE MANAGER AT LLUHC, everything would have gone smoothly, but this woman who shouldn't be allowed to work with PEOPLE or even animals, dropped the ball and I began to panic about getting home. Like a savior riding in on a white horse, Luis worked with me and completely saved the day! He sent IVAN to pick me up. What an incredibly amazing young man. I was in the best possible hands. Ivan was a cautious, respectful, and diligent driver, and even though being ill, the almost two hour ride home was enjoyable due to his personable nature. He's just awesome. Arriving at my home, Ivan brought all my equipment in and thanked me for being a great passenger! If you're like me and feel that taking an UBER (!) for a lengthy MEDICAL transport is not something you'd ever consider, please call PRESTIGE. I promise you will not be disappointed! A nurse or MA came in not sure nor do i care but she said ok he can go ahead and pee in the cup and stood there staring at me. I said right here ? And she laughed at me saying no in the bathroom and still stood there I said well where is it?! After my son completing his urinalysis I handed it to the girl and she said hold on turned around and continued laughing and talking with a co worker then gloved up and took the urine. I was taken back to the room with no further instruction. I waited another 20 minutes with nothing. I finally just fuck it and left. And as I walked out one girl said sooooo cancel your appointment ? Like no shit Sherlock yes cancel it I won't be coming back. I can't stand that provider. Sorry if this offends or hurts anyone but I'm just being honest. Now I get to go to his GP and pay yet another co pay or to the er with a fat er bill.

The night before Krissy contacted me to let me know their van had just been in an accident and the doors wouldn't open. I offered to cancel but she was adamant that my folks enjoy Thanksgiving with us, so said she would make sure my folks got to my house in time. In terrible rain, she got both here right on time, and picked them up exactly at the prearranged time. We all enjoyed a wonderful meal and day with 4 generations. But he makes you feel like he considers your problems as important as any others. He takes lots of time in a relaxing manner and is so much more caring and knowledgeable than my "primary physician" whom I don't see anymore. Even though I have Medicare and this clinic takes cash/credit only, it is worth it to me to get results the first time and every time I see him. His nursing staff, Eva, and "blonde" Monica, are very compassionate, caring and efficient, taking their time to help you. Monica is very gentle when taking blood samples and the technique utilized to help me with my problem took a long time, but the results were phenomenal and I felt so much relief! You can leave and they call you when it's time to be tested. You can show up 10-15 minutes later and that's ok. Based on all of that I would give them a 5 rating. However, when you arrive there are 5-6 employees each with a different task, and no one greets you or acknowledges you at all. You have to be assertive and speak up or else you'll be waiting forever while other customers speak up and get helped. My biggest issue is that although they wear gloves, they don't change them!! A couple employees will squirt sanitizer on their gloves now and then but the lady who did my test did not. Before that she was helping others and handling paperwork and other object including the phone. WTF?? It COVID and they're not taking precautions they should.
