I searched for so long to find a doctor that would work for me. I based my decision solely on two things: #1 when you call, you get a real person. Not an automated machine to route you to someone. #2 reviews and their website. I had my first appointment yesterday. It was a 330p appt and I showed up at 333. I was supposed to show up 15 minutes early for paperwork but there was traffic coming down the mountain from Lake Arrowhead. Did they even mention it? Absolutely not. I was treated with the utmost kindness from every single staff member. To the girl wearing the tiny strawberry necklace, thank you for being so kind even though I was late. Thank you for doing everything to fit me into the schedule. I waited awhile and was seen around 415 but I was the one late 15 minutes and probably screwed up their whole schedule. Office-I am so sorry about this. Chris Salazar (NP) came in and was so warm and listened to absolutely everything I said. He immediately set me up for the right referrals and offered me relief from my horrid TMJ which no doctor has ever offered before. Two days into this medicine, I have relief from TMJ that I have not had in 20 years. Are they perfect? No one is. I think the biggest improvement that could be made is some sort of patient portal to send a note to your doctor or see your lab results. Or possibly a form created on their website to fill out new patient forms pre-appt. I am sure this will eventually come. I booked an appointment, they gave me appointment after 1 month, even though in their website they say they can give 1 day appointments. they booked me for 11:45. i called then day before to confirm because there was no text or call to confirm the appointment. they confirmed and when i went there..they said my appointment already passed and it was at 10:45. i waited for one month to get checked by doctor as i feel extremely dizzy. these bunch of good for nothing people over there..they wasted my time and made my health situation worse. i give them negative stars if i have a chance. only doctor who is fit for nothing will employ this fit for nothing people. those who reviewed good to this doctor must be their friends and family. dont ever go here.. read more

This is for the dumb receptionist Noei, or whatever her name is that was working Wednesday the 24th at 4pm. First of all, if you can't answer the phone why are you working there. I called 5 times & each time you answered & hung up. The 5th call you answered & said "oh shit did I answer? Haha" & hung up. Your job ends at 5 so stop being so damn lazy. Second she has no idea what's happening, any question I asked she had no answers, "oh I don't know" "I can't answer." Most useless front desk ever. Please fire this girl. read more

I went in to see Alav for a bad ear ache. He looked at my ear and told me "you ear looks REALLY bad", told me I needed to go see an ENT ASAP and advised me to play up my ear and even fake cry if I need to in order to get seen. He STILL did not tell me what exactly was wrong with my ear but told me it can damage my hearing if I don't get this taken care of, although I didn't know what was actually wrong with my ear. He called me in a prescription and asked me to call him back to let him know what the ENT said about my ear. The ENT couldn't take me as they are appointment only so me being totally freaked out by what the doctor told me, I went to urgent care. They looked at my ear and said I have a mild ear infection and were completely taken back by what the doctor told me. The urgent care told me it was very odd for him to say what he said and that he overplayed the severity of it and all I need is some drops, not even the antibiotic Alav had called in for me. I find it absolutely ridiculous for a health care provider to say something like this to their patient! This is also not the first time I have had issues with the doctors at this office. My family has had a handful of issues as well and we will definitely be looking for a new doctor. If you're looking for a new doctor, I would advise against this office!!! read more

This was the worst patient care experience I have ever encountered!! I arrived 15mins early and I don't get seen till 30mins later. They don't even check your temperature prior to being seen. As I'm in the room getting my vital signs the medical assistant takes my blood pressure and states that my reading is ~90/57. My blood pressure has never been that low. So anyways, I requested a female provider to see me because I had a GI complaint. She states, "You don't want to see Chris your nurse practitioner?" Again, I said no just in case I needed a rectal examination. Then Dr. Torna states, "Well it's the same thing!" Well I'm sorry but I am the patient not you and this is something I am not comfortable with. During the patient-care interview I apologized to her for requesting a "female provider". I was very kind and professional throughout the examination. As we were wrapping it up, I asked the provider if I can get my blood pressure checked again because it was so abnormally low. The medical assistant comes in again with a passive aggressive attitude stating, "I checked your blood pressure twice, remember?" Well I would have known that if you had just communicated with me by saying, "Your blood pressure is low so I am going to check it again." Where is your patient care etiquette? I forgot the name of the medical assistant but she was an older lady. Customer service was just so bad! As I was leaving I said thank you and none of the staff responded (they were talking to each other). I should have just seen Chris NP - he's is an amazing provider and knows how to treat his patients without being rude or passively aggressive. read more

I have seen Dr Farag several times. He is kind and patient, but it has become really difficult getting appointments to see him. If you call sick or with a non -emergency but maybe urgent medical issue (like a new rash) , you are offered an appointment a week away. Practice is also a bit dated in appearance and function. Practice does not have electronic capabilities for patients to communicate with physicians, review, or verify their medical information in a patient portal. Practice also does not offer telehealth visits to eliminate office visits that can be handled through video conferencing between doctor and patient. read more

I had to change my primary Doctor and consider myself blessed to have transfer to his clinic. I have seen him and Doctor Torna as up to date my health issues have been taken care. All referrals have been prompted and if I have any issues front desk staff takes matter into her hands and solves them. Dr Alav and Dr Torna have a wonderful and caring staff as they are themselves. I do understand the long wait at times, it happens everywhere we go. But if you want good service you wait. I won't go elsewhere seeking my health issues, unless my insurance changes. Mark my word I'll find a way to see them. read more

I called them to schedule an appointment to see doctor Torna for my annual wellness exam. I gave them all my insurance information. They accepted me and they didn't mention that Doctor Torna is leaving the office for good. Also, they made me pay $120 for that saying the insurance doesn't cover it. I called my insurance and they cover that 100%. They are just scammers trying to collect money from people. read more

Then the staff that has been with him for years always know your name & treat you like they really care about your health. It's too bad they are so busy. Dr Alav is awesome and completely attentive. I would liken him to the old fashion Doctor that goes the extra mile for his patients. My mom has been well cared for, he has gone the extra mile to get her the care she has needed to stay alive. I highly recommend Dr. Alav to anyone that's looking for a good doctor. He is the kind of doctor that listens, he cares for his patience. If he doesn't know what's going on withyou he will refer you to a specialist. He even follows up with the specialist and with you . If he doesn't see you one recommended his staff will call you to recommend that you come in for a follow-up or just to see how you're doing. He office does have at his convenience lab availability on ultrasound technician that comes in to do the test at the doctor is recommended and x-rays just downstairs. As for his staff they're all great very kind considerate and polite. They call to remind you about your appointment. They also will call and schedule appointments if need be period I can't say enough on how lucky we are to have dr. Love and his staff to help us to be as healthy as we can be. read more

I've been going to Dr. Alavs office on and off for almost 2 years. I go to see him for the weight loss program. I've had success in ALMOST reaching my target weight, I'm very excited to see the final results! Dr. Alav is awesome, he's very approachable, reliable, professional, and most important he is honest. I went to this Dr office signed in and sat for 40 mins before I was informed they are not excepting any new patients on this day so I was referred to urgent care down stairs. If the nurses would've not been gossiping for 40 mins they could have been more prompt to help me. This clinic only appears to be for weight loss I would not recommend read more

My wife found this Great Doctor. He is the one that found my cancer in 2009 & has been on top everything the first day we started to see him. This doctor is thurl cares for his patients. I felt good on my first two visits. However on my third visit I was told that I could not be weighed or seen because I requested to have injections only. I was not aware that the service that I had initially received changed because I elected not to purchase the appetite surpressive. Also, I waited for over an hour to be seen and just this week I did not receive a reminder call from the office for my appointment which was schedule today. I was referred to Dr. Faramarz's office on Sierra Lakes Parkway by the Veterans Administration who in-turn have begun a new program for Veterans to go to private practice doctors in an effort to improve health services. If you are referred to this office.....Veterans Beware!! I have been to this office at least 6 times and each time they had no idea what I was talking about in regards to the Program they have with the Veterans Administration for medical care. I waited on many occasions to see the Dr only to be sent home by the lazy unconcerned medical staff. I had medical test done three months ago and still dont have their results. No follow up at all. The girls behind the desk were useless...like deer in headlights. No regard for my health needs as a person or a disabled veteran. Very disappointed with the service provided. Kudo's to the Doctors Assistant, the only person in the office with decent bedside manors and did all she could to move the process along. I still have not seen the Dr for my medical needs....this is shamefull. He may put some patients first, not Veterans. read more
