My first thought was "ugh" because as a female going into the hardware store it's generally one of two types of experiences. Either they are very helpful, but talk you into buying a bunch of crap you don't need or the most expensive. Or they do not help whatsoever this experience was neither of those which is what made it so different from other experiences. This was my 1st time into this location. Alex was very welcoming and kind from the moment he walked over. He did not appear to be bothered or in a rush. He was very knowledgeable answered all of my questions about my current project and about 10 other projects. This was more of a genuine interaction verse just a get me out the door. We went over several options that I was needing for my current project, including his recommendation of what he uses. With another project, I was looking for a new exactly where to find what I needed and not just for that project for all of the projects I had referred to which made it a pleasant visit with Grace and not just somebody running around, trying to know where something was. With Alex in the store I will make it my number one go to for projects in the future.
