I called and spoke to trace, was told to email details of furniture to be reupholstered. Emailed measurements and pictures only to receive a response of "because of large size of couch cushion, we can not take on the job. And not sure who else will". The cushion is only 87" long and a cushion! Just foam with material wrapped around it. Also only giving one star because yelp makes you. He needs no stars. read more

The furniture looks fine. The process was grueling. We discussed the measurements and condition (surface rusting) of the furniture over the phone and Trace provided an estimate. It took several attempts to get the furniture picked up. The turn around time was relatively quick less than 2 weeks. The return process was time consuming and frustrating. Got an e mail stating he would deliver later that same morning and the total due was 42% more than we had discussed. I called Trace and advised no one wouldn't be home that morning and protested the amount. We e mailed back and forth about the price finally settling on a figure a few dollars more than the phone estimate. He did apologize for the confusion regarding the price. It took several attempts over several weeks to work out a suitable delivery date. (my availability requires only a few hours notice.) If you use them get a written bid upfront and give yourself plenty of time for pickup and delivery. read more

I was frustrated with cost and schedule for replacing the cushions for our outdoor furniture set. The best price we could get was $3,000 (for Sunbrella fabric), and 6 week turnaround. And this is the off-season. I spoke with Trace at AOR and he promised me half that price (to reupholster our current cushions with Sunbrella), and 2 weeks. We told him we would do it if he could turn them around in 10 days, and he did.
