I called around and finally landed at precision. From the moment they answered, they were so incredibly professional, on the point, and the easiest car related place that I've ever done business with. The lady at the front desk needs some sort of reward because she's one of a kind. The owner Steve is an outstanding guy and was super prompt and helpful in any questions we had. My daughter had an event occur with her Jeep Cherokee back in July where the transmission appeared to lock out in first gear causing near redline rpm's as she completed her drive to work on Rt 130. I took a chance and limped her car over to Precision. It didn't misbehave for me on that 4-5 mile trip. Despite being completely swamped and indicating they couldn't even look at the car for at least a week, the woman running the front of the business was kind enough to come out and scan the transmission for codes to see if we could identify an issue. No codes and symptoms were absent. We agreed it didn't make sense to leave it with them. She didn't charge me a cent for her time spent in scanning and just generally strategizing with me about what to do. We recently moved on from that car and the issue never did resurface. I'll never forget the patience and kindness that was extended to me that day. This shop is clearly run by good people. Honest, hardworking, and willing to help you. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back if I need transmission work. Thank you again!!!

Nick ignored my calls, forcing me to travel out of pocket just to check on my car. When applying for financing, he even suggested using a false address, making me uncomfortable. After the inspection, I was told my transmission was in such bad shape that it would cost $5,000 to replace. Due to the constant runaround, I chose to discontinue service. I still paid $800 for the inspection and an additional $175 for towing to return my car. My car never arrived as promised. Nick ignored my calls all day, then finally answered just before closing to tell me the car would come Saturday at 10 AM. It never arrived, and I later discovered the shop is closed on weekends! I believe I was misled and treated unfairly. As an African American customer, I feel discrimination played a role in my experience. I have been patient and professional, yet received dishonest service, financial misconduct, and complete disregard for my time. Avoid AACMO at all costs! They will take your money, waste your time, and leave you without your car.

I asked him if that was normal and he said, "Cars make noises." Then he charged me an amount of money so offensive I think it might be a hate crime against my bank account. He drove away. My car died. In the same moment. Like they were spiritually connected and my car couldn't continue living after witnessing whatever he did to it. Earlier this week, my vehicle was struck by a delivery van and declared a total loss by the insurance company. The initial valuation was low but I put a lot of work into my car this past year. I didn't keep any of my receipts but fortunately Lou does! He was able to make copies of all receipt documentation for the work that he did on my car so that I could show the insurance company. The gentlemen (and that's being extremely nice), sold us and installed a badly rebuilt transmission... Was told upon pickup to look out for any leaks that are red in color on the ground. It leaked from the time it was returned to me... our neighbor pointed the leaked fluid out to us the week after we got it home. Each time we tried to return the vehicle to have it serviced "under warranty" shortly thereafter, "conveniently" they didn't have a mechanic available to look into or fix it. Thousands of dollars of our hard earned money down the drain. You cannot convince me they didn't know they knew they were installing a piece of junk into my car. This is so hurtful to say the VERY LEAST. I'd say steer clear at all costs. We have spent so much money over the last year paying for the car to be lifted to replace leaked transmission fluid. Verdict the last 2 times we took it back to Philly for it to be looked at? "Looks like the rebuild on this one was bad and I don't have anyone to fix it... the work would have to be outsourced." These guys are pleasant, prompt, more than fair and most importantly, knowledgeable! You can no longer take for granted that the person behind the counter wearing the uniform is qualified! I went to get a quick oil change and the guys at the place ( a national chain) , couldn't figure out how to open the hood! I have a Toyota Avalon, it's not a crazy import. (Relax just a joke) I took my car to cherry hill transmission for a trans tune up! After a day the automatic transmission went! Slipping gears, banging when shifting, and tranny fluid in the radiator I called them up and they told me it must've been something i did because they just did a tune up on it. And you know how shady transmission shop owners are. So in synopsis "Caveat emptor"! And proceed to this place at your own risk! I thought they would be out of business by now!
