Good lake bar with live music and big deck with boat parking. Good bar food, and drinks are reasonably priced. Only negative is they have Fox TV on all the time. We just want to have fun and not have political stuff on. plenty of other places to go. read more

We have a soft rock and country band and we were hired to play at Acheson's Resort on 6 May 2023. Our band members all said they liked the place and were impressed with the service from the staff. The acoustics for sound was surprisingly good and made our audio sound better than most places we had played. We were hired by the owner who compensated us very reasonable for our time. My son and I ordered food and both the food was tasty and was reasonable priced. It is such a cool place where you can dock your boat and have food brought to you at the dock. I had a great experience with a staff member named Alex. Alex was super friendly, helpful, and very professional. Lisa the manager was everywhere taking care of customers and kept the operation running smoothly. Lisa came out to pay us just as soon as we were finished. She complimented us which went over well with the band members. I thank Acheson's Resort for everything and will recommend them very easily. read more

The band was great and we met some people that we haven't seen in years they had a pontoon on the canal the backs right up to this bar. What a perfect spot if you got a boat and want to cruise over to a good party place this is definitely the place to go. Friendly staff and everybody was super cool their place was packed. Everyone was enjoying the weather I don't know if they offer anything to eat as we weren't eating we were just people watching and tipping back a few cold ones. Been here a few times before. I will definitely be back here again in the near future also it's very close to froggy's. If you're in the area stop by for a good time. read more

The party place on the lake, if you come by boat, and find an empty slip, they will serve you right on your boat. We take our dogs on the boat and always have a great time! Food is tasty, recommend the chicken wings and BLT on croissant . Great live music, people watching, and fun atmosphere! read more

Amazing a restaurant like this can stay in business in a lake community. Called to verify they are still serving breakfast, which they were until 11am. Arrived at 10:45 and sat down. Was told by waitress the owner was in a mood, so no more breakfast. Asked for lunch menu and was told they had a lot of dishes to do, so would be about an hour. Always enjoy this place, but with attitudes like that, we will go elsewhere. Good luck. read more

First time patron to this place, and couldn't have been a worse experience. Showed up at 10:20am for breakfast, sat a table, and waited 20 min to even have our drink order taken. Once it was taken, we promptly ordered food since breakfast would be stopped at 11:00am. Ordered was placed, and 25 min later we were told that breakfast was not being served anymore. We said we would like breakfast, or we would just move on. We were told that it would be ok. 25 min after that the manager came out, and one again told us that breakfast was done being served, and that we would have to place lunch orders. So 50 min after placing our order, well within the time before breakfast was not being served, our order was cancelled. We also witnessed the manager belittling our server for taking a breakfast order at 10:35 am. We tipped the server for trying, and promptly left, and my friends and I will NEVER return. read more

20 high school classmates and spouses and I met at Acheson's for our 40th class reunion in July. I hadn't been there in over 20 years. They reserved a table of 20 for us at no charge, and gave us fantastic food and drink service for 6 hours. The band was great (no cover charge), the atmosphere fun and family-friendly. The food was good bar food and the drinks were cold and cheap. Overall, couldn't have had a better experience. Highly recommend and will definitely go back again. read more

Spent 10 min at the bar waiting to order drinks, never got any acknowledgement from the 3-4 waitresses behind the bar. Gave up and sat on the patio and waited for a waitress to stop by to get our order. Convinced we wouldn't have gotten anything if we didn't flag a waitress down on her way to another table. Food came out quick but I received 8/10 wings I paid for. Never saw the waitress again, had to walk inside to request the bill. There staff seems nice, but the organization and thus service is poor. Had heard great things about Acheson's breakfast so took the husband and kids down to try it out this morning. Well I've never had worse treatment at a place ever. We walk in and sit down, were weren't even acknowledged by anyone happened to over hear it would be a 45 minute wait for food. I was fine with that. While there several other tables left because they hadn't been spoken to. We continued to wait patiently then 15-20 minutes later still no service no drinks nothing. The women cooking yells to the rude wait staff. "that's it no more breakfast" no one ever even looked out way. They made no announcement to customers I had to ask to make sure that we weren't going to be served. Sorry it wasn't that busy. Plus if you didn't want anyone else you should have said that when we walked in the door. I could have made breakfast at our camper in the time we wasted there. Very Rude people. read more

Came here as a kid to eat and watch the fish get weighed from the fishing tournament. Brought my own kids here and was unbelievably disappointed. First off they were out of everything on the menu. They were even out of cans of coke, onion rings, fish, pickles. Ended up with chicken strip baskets which looked great on the menu. They came out with flat chicken strips that looks like they came from the dollar store and were warmed in a microwave. Too bad used to be cool place for families. read more
