Do NOT GO HERE! The gym itself is fine. Older equipment but it's functional. The staff there seem friendly enough. HOWEVER I was sent to collections twice! The first time being past my contracted date. I called and they said there was nothing they could do, but if I just signed up for one month and canceled after then it would go away. To be done with it I agreed. Then I get another call from collections a few months later. I called back and apparently the one month I paid for to wipe the bs debt away never went through. It was so long ago I figured I'll just pay again and end this. Then I get more calls telling me I had to cancel in person. So I did when I was off. Then I got a call from them just before the lockdown saying I owed them a yearly maintenance fee. Really bro? I haven't been there in OVER 2 YEARS! Just came on to write this review bc a friend I convinced to sign up with me just messaged me after he canceled his account in October (including a confirmation email) but had his account sent into an overdraft, after they started CHARGING HIM AGAIN in March AND another maintenance fee! Buyer beware. I had an accident due to the negligence of the owner Myke Lida, the NEXT DAY, the issue was fixed. Due to my injuries 5 stitches in my elbow, then a staff infection due to the cleanliness of the bathroom, and damage to my knee and elbow, the owner refuses reimburse me through his insurance (slip and fall), maybe he doesn't have insurance, for my medical bills(less than $700) or the 3 months he charged me for which I couldn't go to the gym. Then he agreed to compensate me and asked me to pay to have my lawyer write an agreement releasing him of any claims (which I paid for). Then he said no F...OFF, read your contract. So anyone going there or thinking of going there, be very carefull!!!! read more

I'd been putting off going to a gym for a long time and finally two years ago I made a New Year's resolution to get healthier. Two years later and I'm still going strong with Achieve 24. I've been working with my trainer Alex several times a week with great results. I am stronger and leaner and feel great! The gym is just right for someone like me. Not too intimidating, everyone is really friendly, and I totally feel like I belong there. I have been working out with the trainers for over a year now and I'm still so happy with the trainings after every session. I appreciate how much the owner and trainers care for their clients and enjoy making sure they get the best workout they could get. I improve every time we do measurements and it's all thanks to that team. I would give this 0 stars if I could. Things were fine until I tried to put my membership on hold. Then I kept getting charged. Then a few months later I moved out of state, cancelled my membership, and have continuously been charged the monthly fee. At the beginning of this month I was then charged $200 for who knows what. I contacted Mychal-the guy running the gym and he told me it would take a few days to get refunded. 10 days later, I try to message him again and I am blocked with no refund. Stay away from this shit hole. I was avoiding golds thinking I would get roped into a contract I couldn't get out of--instead I'm getting bullshit charges from here after 6 months. read more

The most AWFUL gym i have ever been suckered into joining. Machines are from the 80's and there are holes in the floor so when carrying arounf free weights, you can really injure yourself. My friend tweeked his back from stepping in a pothole. Bathroom is GROSS! Piss on floor and NEVER clean. They also do not have paper towels only hand dryers. read more

Top notch! I've tried gyms for years and could not stick with it. Yes - it is ultimately up to me, but the quality of people is a HUGE reason why I was able (and continue to) succeed. Everyone from Mike, the owner to Jake, Monica & John, they genuinely care about you personally improving. A special shout-out to Alex Sterphone, who has taken the brunt of my training sessions. He embodies the perfect balance of encouragement and how much to push you. Plenty of fist bumps with this man...and the days that I couldn't quite make it, he doesn't make you feel down, but offers that positive lift you need to 'keep on'. These guys truly know their stuff, as well. Their passion goes a long way...and it shows! I always feel like when I'm going there, I don't just go to a disembodied and shallow place, but a place where you feel like you are going to hang with friends...a tough work-out with a hearty laugh goes a long way. One last thing: they are very flexible in working with your schedule. Many a time I had to cancel or postpone because of work. They are very understanding and meet you where you are. I signed up with them, cancelled within 30 days by mail and by email and phone. (several family illnesses and personal matters erupted leaving no time for the gym) I was given the run around for 2 years. I had my attorney contact them to which they didn't respond. This was completely unethical... I attended twice, they kept $600 dollars of mine and all protocol was followed. BBB will be notified as well. read more
