The large facility is two floors with plenty of cardio equipment, free weights, machines, and more. Positives: Only ~30 bucks a month and you get access to a nice and clean facility. Usually doesn't get too crowded (evenings busiest) and almost everyone I've seen wipes down their machines / equipment after use. Friendly staff and get to support local business. Any machines that break (not to common) seem to get fixed in a reasonable time. Plenty of cardio equipment located both downstairs and upstairs. Their website details all that they offer. Negatives: 90 Day notice required if / when you decide to cancel your membership. The one free 'personal training session' was more of a gym orientation where I tried out some of the machines briefly and was given a paper with suggested workouts. Free-weight room is a bit small and seems to get crowded some evenings even if there isn't too many people in there. I've been going here generally 3 - 4 times a week over the last 6 months, and overall I'm happy with the money I spend here. For me, the positives outweigh the negatives. Day to day, I get my workout done with little to no disruption.

Their billing practices strain credulity. For over a year, our credit card has been double and…read moretriple billed. Every time it happens, we have to visit the gym several times before we can find anyone in authority to correct the account. Eventually our credit card gets re-imbursed, and in a month or so, the cycle repeats. Out of frustration, we have told them to convert our account to month by month cash billing and we have paid them in cash. On this month's credit card statement, we have three months of overbilling. I find it hard to believe in this age of automated billing that this problem persists. They keep telling us that they contracted out the billing. However, unless they have contracted with middle-schoolers who are just learning arithmetic, I find it hard to discern why this keeps happening. It is not only our account. We have heard the same story from other gym members. Minutes ago, I opened a dispute with our credit card company asking them to block any future billing from this gym because of the persistence of this problem. The billing problem is giving the gym a bad reputation. It needs to be fixed.

Pricing is reasonable, a bit more pricey than some of the factory gyms (Retro, Crunch, Planet Fitness), but you kind of get what you pay for here because it's more personable and less crowded. Overall I'm very happy with my membership, and the new owners have been kind and accommodating. Bonus: the backyard space offers gorgeous, breathtaking views of the mountain, and I found this area crucial during the covid months when I didn't want to be indoors.

I was told that they are here from 5 PM to 8 PM but I never saw them for the six months that I went here. I had issues where other men which is like watch me as I worked out take pictures and videos of me and follow me around the small space. The first time that I reported it, it was taken seriously from the owner, but the subsequent four times were completely ignored. So I personally would not recommend this and I think management needs to definitely revisit how their text message and call service is being handled. I've met a few of the staff and I do think they are very kind and nice so I don't think they were intentionally ignoring me but at the same time I'm not gonna keep going out of my way to try and get in contact with them. It's also very small and has a small assortment of equipment. So if you're going during peak times, I don't think you'd be able to get in on the equipment that you need. It's also really not in great shape. I had this membership through my insurance we subsidize the cost, which was great, but I personally don't think the equipment both due to the upkeep and the selection really match their usual price.

It's good that no one films themselves here much. People also dress in respectful gym attire. The only annoying thing is that some customers do not put the weights and hand gear away when done. The first time being past my contracted date. I called and they said there was nothing they could do, but if I just signed up for one month and canceled after then it would go away. It was so long ago I figured I'll just pay again and end this. Then I get more calls telling me I had to cancel in person. So I did when I was off. Then I got a call from them just before the lockdown saying I owed them a yearly maintenance fee. Really bro? I haven't been there in OVER 2 YEARS! I loved these classes! Was in town, back home visiting my parents for the holidays. I honestly assumed one day I'd check out move!, another day Gold's Gym or Riverside Fitness, and basically spread the variety. Instead I was warmly greeted by Kurt, took his Les Mills step class, sweat my butt off, and returned promptly the next day for Pound with Kara, and then again the next day with Kurt with BodyVive/CX combo. We are all well aware the options in Long Valley are few and far between. Basically, this little gym could offer anything and I'd probably still have stopped by and taken the "first class free" promo. But the intensity, enthusiasm, and overall warmth of the instructors and fellow classmates is what had me hooked. Maybe I'm a little nostalgic here, but everyone was super nice and it made me really miss the coziness of my hometown. See you all again next Christmas :-)

I said ok thanks have a nice day! Then the owner Steve called me to "emphasize" what Sarah said, would barely let me get a word in. I told him I understood what happened to my account but there was no need to be rude and unprofessional he told me they werent unprofessional and its acceptable for his manager to talk down to me and call me "girlfriend".
