I have been a member for nearly 3 years. It is a quiet gym where people come to work out. The gym…read morehas a Rocky Balboa vibe that suits its purpose well. People are friendly. It's good that no one films themselves here much. People also dress in respectful gym attire. The only annoying thing is that some customers do not put the weights and hand gear away when done. It is conveniently open 24 hours daily with a key fob. This is a real plus. The monthly fee is also reasonable. Well done to the owners!

I was told that they are here from 5 PM to 8 PM but I never saw them for the six months that I went here. I had issues where other men which is like watch me as I worked out take pictures and videos of me and follow me around the small space. The first time that I reported it, it was taken seriously from the owner, but the subsequent four times were completely ignored. So I personally would not recommend this and I think management needs to definitely revisit how their text message and call service is being handled. I've met a few of the staff and I do think they are very kind and nice so I don't think they were intentionally ignoring me but at the same time I'm not gonna keep going out of my way to try and get in contact with them. It's also very small and has a small assortment of equipment. So if you're going during peak times, I don't think you'd be able to get in on the equipment that you need. It's also really not in great shape. I had this membership through my insurance we subsidize the cost, which was great, but I personally don't think the equipment both due to the upkeep and the selection really match their usual price.

The spin classes with Steve are the best. He has a lot of energy and I am always guaranteed a good carrion workout. Wish they had more spin classes with Stephanie, she is another great spin instructor. Small Group with Julie is challenging and more of an individual training than one of the Body Pump or Body Combat classes. She makes sure your form is correct and you are using the correct amount of weight which is difficult to do in a larger class. So less chance of being injured. Classes are geared more to the non-working members so it is not easy to try them.

I'm honestly really surprised by the low rating here! I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I've…read morebeen here for about a month and I think it offers a great value. I have my gym membership through my insurance so I have a subsidized price. And through that I'm able to access the gym as well as all the classes. I really enjoy the classes and I think the Gym is very well 19. You don't see out of service signs on any of the machines nor do the machines Have peeled leather or worn out seat seats. It's honestly a very well maintained Gym. I haven't had any issues since coming here. And the classes don't get canceled nor do they have to adjust their hours at all. I do think that if they had better hours, you could see a lot more people because ever since Covid things close earlier and this could definitely attract more people if it had better hours. I also agree with some other reviews that they need to turn the AC up. When you first walk in the AC is pretty strong but then once you walk near the check-in desk, the gym floor and. Workout room and the exercise group room it's very very hot. I would definitely recommend that they not to invest in fans but a stronger AC unit. If they did that honestly this would be a five out of five for me.

It is not a hyperbole when I say that every single friend that has, or had, a membership with this…read moregym has experienced multiple issues whether it be wrongful charges, overcharges, or issues with the membership cancellation process. From what I have seen and experienced they love to pull this cute trick where if you notice a charge and confront them it gets resolved relatively quickly. Then they wait, like a predator stalking its prey. And after a month or two...THEY POUNCE and you, valued customer, get wrongfully charged again, WHAT A DOOZIE. Now THIS is when it gets particularly fun for you, you silly Billy. As you proceed to get wrongful charges over the course of your subscription it gets progressively more difficult to resolve the issue, don't worry you're in luck, you get to try and resolve these issues with Michael and Ron...WOAH. Extremely helpful individuals who, if you're truly lucky, will ghost and block you for pointing out their questionable business practices. After some time you may realize your money is lost to the black abyss, otherwise known as real time fitness, but who needs their hard earned cash when you have a membership to the bestest gym in the whole wide world! This is Gort signing off, love you Michael and Ron Signing back on to respond to dearest Michael, Greetings! Its nice to meet you but its even better to meet me, you have stolen from multiple friends of mine or at least made attempts to. And I must say it is incredibly interesting that you responded to this review that criticizes your business in record time, yet you have no issue with ghosting patrons when they reach out about issues of overcharges which is incredibly serious. I suggest fixing your business model.

Terrible canceled membership and still charge me for 2 more months…read more Equipment is ancient some totally rusty and just thrown together. Lake Hopatcong is totally no nonsense. Old school weights and equipment. A bit snug if it is a little crowded but gets the job done. No real locker room and no showers. Rockaway is the largest of the three. A bit newer equipment and more spread out. This is the location I visit the most as I go after work, never feel cramped in there. No formal locker room, but there are lockers on the main floor. There are 3 changing rooms and 1 shower room... I can't imagine that being a bit hectic for the before work crowd. Stanhope is the newest location. a bit smalller than Rockaway, but a nice layout. All newer equipment, clean, nice layout. Only been there a handful of times. This location has a formal locker room, with separate changing room and 3 shower stalls in the mens locker room. Cant speak for the womens locker room. Overall, Stanhope is a very nice spot. My only gripe, and it is with all 3 locations are the treadmills. Lake Hopatcong, can barely get them to operate. Rockaway, 1 is broken, 1 has a deck that isn't level and is broken, the rest are ok. Stanhope has the newest ones, but of the 8, 5 had slipping belts that make it dangerous to walk on, let alone try to run or jog, one is super noisy. I get it, these gyms are geared more towards lifting weights and body building, not oblivious to that. A day of maintenance on the treadmills would get 5 stars. Aside from the treadmills, I really like all 3 locations.
