I went to ACI Institute from 6th grade to 12th grade starting from PSAT to SAT and AP classes. Ms. Kimberly and Polly 阿姨 left such a positive impact on my childhood and I can't thank them enough. I've been at ACI since I was small and Ms. Kimberly and Ms. Polly have always looked over me and supported me throughout my high school career up until I left to college. It's very clear that they really want the best for you and are there for you whenever you need help or want some advice on what steps to take. All the teachers and TA's are extremely knowledgeable and supportive since they have all gone through similar experiences in a competitive academic environment. I came here a few years ago and the people here were really helpful. The staff notify parents of grade changes every Monday, and homework completion everyday as long as they attend homework hour. If you are a consultation student there's a meeting with the counselor every month with no penalty for rescheduling. Office Lady notifies parents of any competition, opportunities ,and awards too. I know a lot of other students who got near perfect SAT scores After taking sat class here which is pretty cool. It's a place where you get what you pay for. The counselors don't make commission and neither do any of the teachers or staff which they assured me. Made a lot of friends here when i was here since we were all from similar backgrounds. They care about the students sometimes more than the parents and kids themselves. read more

She taught us everything we needed to know about high school/college and helped us stay organized and on track. I was able to attend college early at the age of 16 because of the help of Ms. Kim! If I could give ACI 0 stars, I would. I attended ACI from 3rd through 8th grade, and I am so glad I went to a different prep class for SAT/AP prep in high school. The entire environment is extremely unprofessional, and teachers and staff are severely underpaid. I attended the ACI in Hacienda Heights, and it's no surprise that it closed. In fact, in my opinion, it was open far too long already. read more

ACI is not worth the money. They charge an outrageous price for mediocre instruction, and all of the teaching methods are outdated. The SAT is not required by colleges anymore, but since SAT was their most profitable program, they continued to convince parents and students that it was still necessary, even though they didn't know anything. Other teaching institutions definitely offer better quality instruction than ACI. read more

Tutoring businesses like ACI is booming during this pandemic era, they're now so centered around $$$$$ and not about your kids education. No customer service whatsoever, even for those who sent their kids here for years and spent thousands of dollars - they won't recognize your years of loyal business, or care about your kids academic future. Looks like the policy now is just sign up and pay or take a hike, no consults or assessments, and questions are un-welcomed. This tutoring center is disorganized, everyone has attitude problems, so lacking communication internally and externally, and uses the pandemic excuse for everything. read more

I have learned and grown so much from my time here at ACI. As a college counseling student, the guidance and help that Ms. Kimberly provided for me was amazing. I felt so comfortable talking to her and she never hesitated to answer any of my questions. I'm our meetings, she was able to give me insight into high school and the college admission process. The college essay teacher, Mr. Hayashi, was also extremely helpful and polished my college essays to best express who I am. The teachers here are so nice and really care about the students and their education. The office staff are also so friendly and encouraging. With ACI's help, I was accepted into many incredible schools such as UCLA, USC, Berkeley, Scripps, and UOP! I'm so grateful for all the help and support I got from ACI!!! read more

I first enrolled in the summer of 2021. I was lost in the jumbled and confusing jungle of the college admissions cycle at the end of my junior year. I was nervous, disappointed, and regretful of my high school career up to that point. However, ACI prepped me to be the best version of myself I could be. I explored other college prep businesses in the area, but I found their counselors cold and unwelcoming it was Ms. Kimberly and the front office staff that welcomed my situation with optimism and assured me that I would succeed. I enrolled in the College Essay class, which was by far the best thing I could do. I polished my resume and worked diligently on my college essays. Under the guidance of Mr. Hayashi and the other teachers, my college essays and application were, to put it lightly, magnificent. I am grateful for what Ms. Kimberly and ACI have done for me, and I believe that my college acceptances were due in large part to their concerns, diligence, and commitment to their student's success. With that, I am proud to say that as a result of the combined efforts of ACI and myself, I was accepted into USC, Harvey Mudd, UCSD, UCSB, UCI, UCD, UIUC, and many more. All the staff there is extremely helpful, kind, and encouraging, and takes great care in addressing concerns for each and every student. I went to ACI Institute throughout high school. As a first-generation college student, ACI prepared me for college by introducing me to the best 4-year plan in high school, including what AP classes to take and other testing schedules. All the teachers and staff there are super helpful. They all have a lot of teaching experiences and I really enjoyed taking their classes. I was a consultation student with Ms. Kim, and she tailored a 4-year plan for me to maximize my chances to get into top-tier colleges. Out of other college prep institutes I researched, ACI was definitely the best one in terms of customer service and student performance. I used to be a student in ACI two years ago! A lots of teachers are very educated and nice and helpful, such as the college essay teacher, Mr. Hayashi. The staff there is very responsible, they will check your grade every week to keep track of you. Definitely one of the best college prep institution. I went to ACI from 7th - 12th grade. As a new immigrant, ACI has definitely helped me a lot in terms of English, classes, and long-term planning. Their ELD and Common core classes helped me to pass my English barrier. The college essay teacher Mr Hayashi allows me to shine my personality and experience in my application. As a 4-year consultant student, I meet Ms Kimberly monthly to discuss classes, clubs, extracurriculars, college search, and everything about college prep. She provides me so many opportunities (volunteers, research, summer program) that allows me to expose to my intended major. Other than opportunities, she also trains my mindset to plan ahead. This will definitely benefit me future in college and even beyond school. I went to ACI Institute from about 3rd grade to throughout my High school career. My mother sent my older brother here first and was very pleased with the success he gained so, she decided to send me too! From the moment I stepped on campus, to my first class, I was ecstatic because I could tell ACI truly wants to educate and prepare you for whatever academic endeavors you wish to achieve. Ms. Kimberly, who is basically a second mom to all students, really worked with me from the ground up. She really wanted me and everyone else around me to succeed and develop useful skills. The teachers have great amounts of knowledge in their respective courses and made the courses fun. It made me and some of my classmates want to learn more and more.
