My kids did their college planning with Ivy and we couldn't be happier with the results. We were recommended by a friend whose son had a great experience with their counselors and after meeting with a bunch of consulting firms in the area, we decided to commit with Ivy. They send more students off to UCLA and USC than any other places nearby, which we appreciated. My two sons went to Ivy for 4 years. My older son is now in sixth grade and younger son is in fourth grade. Their grades had fallen after the pandemic due to all-online classes. So, when school reopens, then I start searching for academic after-school programs. The first year after I signed them up, their grades had significantly improved. Their grades have been straight A ever since joining Ivy. I never have to worry about their homework when I am home exhausted from work. I am so glad what Ivy has done, and so appreciate that they have great academic structures and taught my boys to have a good attitude about school work. IVY is a very bad after school that requires you to be rich as hell and wastes your child's time to stay in. They offer bad education and unecessary homework even in the weekends. The detention service is also a bad part, they offer no teachers to teach but a reflection that students wont even remember after an hour. I can't stress enough how great this institution is. The level of care and attention to detail in every step of their students' learning journey made such a lasting impact on me. I first entered Ivy as a high school student but after taking their SAT prep class and having a great experience, I signed up for their college consulting program. The college admissions counselor I was assigned, TT, helped me took her time to get to know me. I felt very heard and seen, which really helped when it became time to write my personal statements. I really feel like she was able to help my authentic and best self shine through those essays. She was very knowledgeable and patient, which made the whole college application process seamless and easy. In the end, I got into my dream university!! I still keep in touch with my teachers here. Let me begin by saying that I have been working in the Educational Consulting space for over 10 years now. I have consulted for over 500 educational institutions, ranging from formal to informal to after school programs, to college admissions counseling programs. I have never taken the time to publicly review an institution before, but Ivy League School requires it. The level of professionalism and high educational standards is one of the highest I have come across in my career. The level of service, the attention to detail are impressive, but the most impressive aspect is the caliber of their staff. From the top down every staff member I met with had an impressive pedigree. Most other after school institutions hire local college graduates regardless of their majors. Ivy League's staff were all trained professional educators, a key distinguishing factor. Finally their atmosphere was the ideal place for learning. The students were all genuinely excited to be there, to learn, to interact together. The sense of community and level of positive reinforcement used by the staff is second to none. I had an amazing experience with their college admissions counseling program. At the time, USC was my dream school though I felt my stats likely weren't competitive enough. I almost didn't even bother applying, but the college counselor I worked with, Elissa, persuaded me to. She even brought in one of the other consultants, Derek, who had actually worked on USC Admissions team. He reassured me about my admissions chances and potential for success. And I'm glad he did, because I ended up getting into USC!!! Though I only signed up for their college consulting program, I feel like I walked away with a mentor. This is the kind of place that you'll wish you signed your kids up for sooner. This school is really as amazing as all the other five star reviews say!! We've signed our kids up at all the other tutoring centers/summer schools in the area, but a lot of the parents at my kids' school were highly recommending Ivy, so we decided to give it a shot and see what the hype was about. Well, four months in, and all I can say is WOW. The standard of education that Ivy upholds is truly impressive and so difficult to find in this area. The director here has full transparency on the background of the instructors, which we liked, and we saw the Ivy League diplomas on the wall too. But it was at Ivy that we discovered that instructors from prestigious universities is impressive, but what's more impressive is how those teachers teach. Well, i'm shocked at how excited my children have become about learning. Sometimes when I pick them up, they even ask me if I can wait so they can finish up some extra work. I went to Ivy during high school and they're by far the main reason I got into my dream school: UCLA! In all honesty, I wish that my parents sent me here sooner, but in the three years that I spent at Ivy my grades improved significantly and I found school material to simply be much easier. They not only made my learning more enjoyable but they also were just really approachable with questions, feedback, etc. Even now as I'm getting my MBA at USC (which one of the teachers here encouraged me to do!), I still stop by whenever I'm in the area to chat it up with some of my former teachers. I really appreciate their support even up to today. So last spring, I recommended Ivy to a friend who was looking for an after school program for her son. I checked back in with her a few months later and she told me his reading level had already jumped two levels and his grades had gone from straight B's to nearly perfect. (I'm taking credit for that!) But truthfully, I feel that there's an attention to detail at Ivy that helps propel students much further than they think they're capable of. Try Ivy League School! They serve all grades through high school, pick up from Vejar, offer homework assistance, and have Chinese classes. Their teachers are from top universities and care a lot about their students. My brother (10 y.o.) initially was only attending their summer program but asked to return during the school year for their after school program as well! We've seen a great shift in his attitude towards learning since attending Ivy. He used to be unenthusiastic about school but these days he's much more eager to learn!
