Came here for them to replace a shit job I had done elsewhere. Pricing was the same as most shops for 2 windows. Didn't get charged for the removal of old tint and most places will do thank you guys! I Called and they were able to take me the same day within the hour. My car window was broken during a burglary and I had to replace the window, which meant ACJ had to match the tint of the other window. I was greeted promptly upon arrival. The technician evaluated the window and pointed out that there was a scratch at the top and smudge at the bottom (on my NEW window but I think I did it because when I rolled the window down the first time I heard a scraping noise... from glass still inside the door). My vehicle was then taken back right away and within 30 minutes I was done. The window looked great, matched the other window and the price was extremely reasonable. Selected my brand and called on a Monday to set up an appointment. Got a Saturday appointment that same week. The shop is in a nice and quiet location. When I arrived, I was helped quickly and quoted about an hour wait for the work to be done (which was already fantastic in my book). Not 25 minutes later, I was told my car was finished and ready to go! 25 minutes! It took me longer to drive from my house to the shop. It's great that they have a team working on the car at once so you're in and out quickly. Now about the tint and work done: it turned out perfectly. The edges are precision cut and the tint goes right up to the edge of the glass. I'm writing this review about 2 weeks after getting the job done and it has "cured" pretty well. My car was returned clean and everybody was friendly. The price options were perfect and I will definitely be recommending this shop to others. read more

I would highly recommend ACJ Window Tinting. My entire experience with them was professional, efficient, respectful, and they were true to their word. I called them for an estimate and I was given one and that is exactly what I paid. They didn't try to up sale me which I appreciated. I set up an appointment by phone and when I showed up, they started my car when they said they would and finished when they said. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. The gentleman that helped me was very courteous. I would definitely return! Update: although the gentleman was very nice, I feel that there was poor communication. In shipping my window broke and he did not call to tell me. I am glad I called before I drove there to have it installed! I know it wasn't his fault, but it was an inconvenience. I got all my windows tinted here with SunTek CXP-- 35% in the back, and 55% in the front. I was going to go with the 3M but the person who helped me recommended the SunTek CXP. Apparently 3M is best if you go extremely dark, which I did not want. I was expecting to wait about an hour, based on other reviews but to my surprised they finished in a little under 40 minutes! It was soooo quick. I waited a few days until all the tints fully cured in order to examine them. There's no bubbling at all and everything looks great, except for a small little lint stuck in the drivers window which is too minor for me to go all the way back to Hayward to get fixed. I had my windows tinted here and the quality of the tint was very good - clean and lasted a long time. The problem for me was that after doing the tint my window trim was stained with blotches that discolored the trim . I called them and explained this but I was brushed off that it must have been hard rain. My car had been garaged so I know it was not hard rain lol. They did not attempt to fix the problem or really even hear me out. They simply said it was something g else and not their fault. This car was a show car that I take meticulous car of and is always garaged and I had never had an issue with the window trim in the entire time I owned the car. I ended up having to pay to have the trim wrapped which cost me another couple of hundred dollars. read more

Earlier this year, I called around to a couple of tint shops locally and was consistently quoted $300+ to do my Infiniti M35. Heard about ACJ from a friend, gave them a call and they came in A LOT lower than everyone else. Made an appointment, followed the wifey over there, found it tucked away in the industrials of Hayward, talked to one of the installers about the tint options, gave him our keys and phone number and went out to run errands. Two hours later, saw our car parked outside, inspected the work, paid the guys and we were on our way. Through 100+ degree weather, and now 25+ degree winter days, the tint has held up wonderfully.
