Very seriously, start here with Diava and be done with it. Great, great cut, beautiful style, relaxing, fun, interesting, wherever you personally need to just feel appreciated! Diava is incredibly kind, accommodating and professional! I can't tell you how glad I am to have found her, I will be back for a very long time. There have only been 2 people in my entire life who have known how to cut my hair and Diava is one of them. She met me at the door and was super friendly from the get go. If anyone asked me where they should get their hair done, I would immediately tell them Daiva at Sister's Salon.  I love the products cannot say enough about them, reasonable priced and they work! It was truly a day brightener spending time here and we both left very grateful having had less than desirable experiences on island previously. I don't recommend I went there and the starting price was $125 and I was a bit confused but I went ahead anyways then she she said it's an extra five dollars for French nails so I asked her if it was for all my nails or just one she said it was for all of them. I said that's fine. The tech asked me what shape I wanted and I said square I ended up with coffin anyways. The French on my nails are way too thin for me to even consider them actual French tip. The design on my nail doesn't even look like the design I requested. And when I was asking for thicker lines. She she said she did not want to do that because I kept changing my mind but all the changes to my nails were the ones that she recommended from the regular polish to the gel to the color and then order to get the design on all my nails it would have been $212 for a basic set that would cost about $80 anywhere else. So I didn't get it and all my nails I only got it on #2 and my total was $162 for a job poorly done. read more

Save your money! My. friend and I made an appointment and went for pedicures. This was hands down the worst one I have ever had The selection of colors was minimal and the chairs were uncomfortable and had none of the massage nor whirlpool capabilities. When asked to turn them on they only shook in a loud and irritating fashion and so we had them both turned off. A workman came in and banged around some ..sometimes that cannot be helped but was definitely not relaxing The icing on the cake...our nails do not even look good. read more

Very nice pedicure. They have foot baths and also a great sander style tool to remove calluses. A good selection of colors as well. The woman who gave me my pedicure was very pleasant. I will come back! read more

5 Stars is not enough!!! I got married in Nantucket on 4/29/17 and I looked into 2 salons one was in town walking distance to my hotel and Diva Salon was mid island but only 6 mins away from the White Elephant where I got married. I decided to book DIVA SALON. When I got there I felt so comfortable with Diva!! On my trial on Thursday she made me feel so comfortable even though I was a bunch of nerves having 50 people coming in the next morning(Friday) for the weekend wedding!! That night I could not find my Head piece I brought and called her in a panic.... On the morning of my wedding we all got to the salon and we had so much fun! She was like my second mom (thats how nice she is!!) and my hair came out just simply amazing. ADDED TOUCH SHE FOUND ME A HEAD PIECE THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Diva goes out of her way to make you happy. She is great with customer service and a good stylist. I have had great pedicures and gel manicures at the salon. My last appointment I got low lights and a trim and was very happy with the results. Horrible service. Nice owner, but she spent the entire time talking to the employee next to her. That was the least of my concerns. I wanted my hair blown out for engagement pictures. What I got somehow were sausage curls that eventually flopped and frizzed. I just looked at my pictures (as I just received) and am horrified at my hair. I would have done a better job myself. I wish I did after seeing what it really looked like to save myself the mortification and money. Definitely don't go here for a "special event." read more

VERY disappointing and NOT worth the price. First off when I walked in there was a huge vacuum strewn across the salon floor which I had to step over and it remained there the entire time. Salon was dirty. The plastic water cups had been rinsed out and restacked. . . Lipstick on every single one. Disgusting and I was so thirsty and looking forward to a glass of water or tea. Pedicure was good but painful and only 40 minutes with very short foot massage. Pedicure chair was small and just had an annoying vibration setting. Weird experience and EXPENSIVE, I wouldn't mind paying that for a luxurious experience but this was anything but that. read more

Daiva is awesome! Her salon has reasonable prices and all her employees have done an amazing job styling and cutting my hair to my liking.

I was vacationing on Nantucket and my friend and I decided to get our nails done. There were not many options for spa services on the island and we came across this salon. We called and made an appointment. They were able to schedule something for us the same day, which was great! I chose to get a shellac manicure. It lasted 2 hours.......At one point the owner decided to just remove the shellac that she had already put on to redo the manicure after I had commented on how I did not care for the color and would have been much more helpful to have an example as we all know shellac colors do not translate to nails the same way they look in the bottles. At one point she reached into the drawer and got a bag of cuticle nail clippers out and tried about 5 of them on one of my cuticles. Once done, she shoved all of the clippers, along with the 5 that she used for my nails back into the drawer without cleaning them. This made me extremely uncomfortable on the cleanliness of the salon. The owner and the other nail tech were extremely nice and accomodating, but the actual service of the nail appointment was the most horrific experience I have ever been a part of. My nails, after 1 week are already chipping and after spending so much money on this service I would expect them to last for 2.5 weeks as they normally do. Don't go, don't bother, you will be extremely dissapointed. read more
