Horrible service, did a over file with the drill first of all, to remove previous gel. When new polish was put on was very spotty and and uneven . Didn't finish the service nor put topcoat on when they took me off the chair and still asked to pay in full almost $90.!! they refuse to let me leave without paying for an incomplete service. Another tech attempted to fix the job , it did look better, but it was still not what was expected and Customer Service is definitely not the best for that reason . After unnecessary request was given a discount and still $65. read more

Don't go unless you can speak Spanish. My haircut on my long hair was terrible, layers were uneven and unblended, and the language barrier left us both upset and frustrated. Not worth it. read more

Nas was awesome. She did a 75 min massage and and she was wonderful. I didn't know but it also included a mini facial massage. The place is small and run by some very sweet Caribbean women. It does smell like acetone though due to the nail salon upstairs so it's quite a stinch. Would totally go back! read more

Went here to get a manicure and i paid $95 for dip and it only lasted two days. I couldnt believe it, I always get dip and it lasts forever, never chips and this didnt even last more than 48 hours. Dont waste your time going here. read more

Beware! I was quoted a price for an eyelash extension over the phone which was $80-100. I have been getting extensions for 5 years so I am well aware when I need a lot or if they are still in good shape. When I checked out she charged me $125 stating they needed a lot (which was NOT TRUE AT ALL). She spent a total of 30 minutes including the taping for anyone who knows this process. When I emailed the owner her response was well this is Nantucket. I am well aware that there is a premium to pay on the island and more then happy to do so. My issue was the bait and switch pricing and she ignored me after that. FIND AN HONEST Salon. read more

I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed with my overall service at Sisters. I expressed concern about the use of fabric wax strips when I went in for a Brazilian, and I was told that there was no reason to be concerned. What ensued was one of the more painful waxes I've ever had. That is not the worst part: following the wax, I clearly had parts of my skin that were severely irritated due to the harsh method used. I could tell layers of my skin had been pulled off. I called to discuss and was told that I was not familiar with how painful a Brazilian is--yet I have been receiving them for over a decade without an issue. I asked for a refund given the amount of scabbing and irritation, and I was told they do not offer reimbursements. If you are considering a wax here, I encourage you to consider another service provider. read more

Disappointed to say the least... I booked the first appointment of the day and then several people were seen before me. When they finally got to me, I was disappointed to see that all their tools were from Amazon and were not sanitized. The nail tech also cut me and then tried to fix it by spraying 70% rubbing alcohol on it. She kept my hand under the uv light for maybe 15 seconds per hand, so they are already chipping.... Save yourself a trip and the money. read more

I spent the best birthday while at SSS. They not only gave us the best service (massage, facial, mani and Pedi) but were the nicest staff members I've ever interacted with in a spa. GREAT MASSAGE by SUSANNA! I drove cross country, only to mess up my back when I arrived on the Island! I booked a 90 minute massage and hoped for the best. Well, it was better than that. I was met by Susanna who worked on me for the next 90 minutes to untie the knots. She was gentle, but firm, intuitive and knowledgable about body work. Don't hesitate. You will love it!!! read more

DO NOT COME HERE. Horrible service. I came here for a double pedicure with my mother at the same time and she was seen after a 10 minute wait. I was made to wait 25 minutes until being seen. They acted annoyed at us for checking in to make sure someone would take care of us. They did not communicate that I'd have to wait so long and acted like it was our fault. I was on the Island for a wedding and wanted a little relaxation. I called the Spa last minute and they were so very accommodating and tried very hard to get myself and my friend in for appointments. I had a 90 minute massage that was priced very reasonable and was fantastic! I was extremely pleased! My friend had a mini facial and a blow out and was also very pleased by both services! I definitely recommend the salon. Not only for their treatment but for their customer service as well. read more

Don't ever go there! I had gel manicure done there today and the lady doing it wasn't applying gel to the corners of the nail and I nicely pointed it out to her because it would just peel off in 2 days. Her response was if I was unhappy with her doing it the way she does it I will have someone else finish it. Then she invited another woman Veronica who is a sweetheart to finish the job. It made me feel really uncomfortable. Then she made some unflattering comments about me in Spanish and I speak Spanish pretty well so I had to sit there and listen to it. Awful experience. I'm very disappointed with this salon. I did not receive the hair color I was expecting. The lady was kind to say she would fix her mistake, but her attempt of "fixing" my hair did not show much or any improvement at all. I now have paid a pricey amount of money for damaged, orange hair. Do Not Request Services. I do not know how their spa services are, but my hair experience was a train wreck, as they are idiots. Really did not listen to what I asked for. I came in wanting to lighten my hair with the roots back to platinum blonde. Along with this I also requested a haircut. The woman helping me, was convinced I just needed highlights at the top of my scalp (which virtually made no sense, as my hair looked almost the same) However I did value her work, and how hard she worked on each individual foil. I was promised a discount of 50% but the lady at the desk could not use the computer or do math to figure out what that meant. She asked if they cut my hair (which no- they didn't even though that was a service I needed) and took an extra 10 off. Overall ridiculous experience. I paid 150 to sit in a chair and leave unhappily with long dead hair. They did not offer adequate solutions to make the situation better. Would recommend people who consult with you about what you need, and care about your needs. read more

Finally broke down for a cut & color on Nantucket. I had heard how expensive it can be here on the island, but I got desperate & decided I would try Sister's. So glad I did. The prices were right in line with the prices for a higher-end salon back "in America" & so was the service! Janiece was terrific with my cut & color and Inez was so good with the wax that I decided to go back for a facial. So glad I did! Her little downstairs nest is calm & relaxing & shes got such soothing hands. My face was suffering from neglect in the cold weather, but it looks & feels so soft now! I will be back for more!!! read more
