My experience was over a year ago but I am only now leaving a review. I had already learned to drive with my parents instruction but I needed a car and a refresher lesson to take my driving test. Corinna patiently took me through the course that they would use for the test as well as briefly reviewing driving basics. I had bad nerves during the test but her instruction helped me to stay calm. I was really happy with my experience with this driving school. Initially, i was a little turned off by the fact that i wouldn't be able to request the same instructor for each lesson, as I've had negative experiences with this in the past, and i am an anxious driver. I had two instructors, Kalani (my spelling is likely incorrect, sorry!), and Wayne. Kalani was very friendly, and helped me focus on specific areas which i wanted to improve (reversing/parking). I was very comfortable with her. She was not overbearing with her directions and tips, which allowed me to lean on myself a bit more in terms of knowing what to do which is exactly what i needed at that point in my journey. She had some great information about the DMV exam that really helped me mentally prepare. And Wayne, Wayne is stellar. Wayne was extremely laid back, but not in a way that felt he wasn't invested. i have severe vehicle related trauma and have gone my whole life without my license, I'm almost 30. Wayne picked me up so i could use ACME's vehicle for my DMV exam. Within 5 minutes, i felt like I'd known Wayne for years. He was so helpful with helping me practice around the area of the DMV, gave me some amazing tips to not be so anxious during the exam, and reassured me that I'd do great. It felt like I'd hired someone not only to use the vehicle, but i hired an emotional support buddy. I was so pleased to have that experience as it's exactly what i needed. My son was such a challenge for me so I set him up with an appointment with Acme & his lesson was with Corinna for his first drive and she was AMAZING with him. She was so patient & caring. He learned more in that lesson than I was able to teach him in a month. The second appointment was with Jeff and he was just as awesome and my son liked him a ton too. He thought Jeff was funny and also very patient even when my son hit a curb. I cannot recommend this company enough. 5 STARS for sure!!! read more

My 15 & a half year old son who just got his driving permit had his first lesson yesterday with acme Driving School. It was very easy to set up his appointment on the website & they have different options to choose from for times & days for the lesson & for the payment schedule. Which is nice around Christmas time. His instructor Clay showed up promptly at 3:15 & was very nice & explained how everything works. As a first time mom of a new driver of course I was nervous but acme driving school was great. My son will have 2 more lessons before he can get his license& I'm sure those will be great as well. The pointers Clay gave my son we have already been practicing. My daughter was scheduled for her first lesson and it went as planned. Scheduled her second lesson and the instructor had us waiting over 30 minutes with NO communication to let us know. I contacted the owner Karina expressed my frustion and she agreed to bring her home after the mishap. Went to schedule her 3rd and finally driving lesson at 8 am pick up at Big 5 stressed to her we were leaving out of town right after so it was very important to be "ON TIME". 8:10 rolls around and NO instructor . I contact her and she states he is on his way. Waited in the parking lot 40 minutes and he finally showed up . You figure I would be offered some sort of discount or even to drive her home. NOPE after the instructor had that last check in his hands she stopped responding. HORRIBLE experience!!! Unless you have time to waste, I DO NOT recommend. read more

Worst experience ever. A few light showers and wants to cancel the driving lesson, what a joke. They should have known it was going to rain from the beginning of the day. Tells us she a professional, but she say she doesn't feel comfortable with first time drivers. Very unprofessional. Yep no hail currently sun poking out of the clouds, this woman is straight lying. My son had his DMV test at 8:20am this morning and realized last night that his drivers traning certificate was missing. I emailed ACME really late asking how I could get a new one, and they not only replied immediately, but offered to meet us this morning at 7:45am to give us a replacement before the appointment. What amazing customer service. They really went above and beyond for us, and my son is a very lucky boy today. I highly recommend ACME. The price is right, and the service is seriously priceless. This service is really unprofessional and crappy. My Daughter told me that the teacher constantly checked his phone while driving. Then overtook a car on a double solid yellow. Best driving instruction I've ever had! I was very nervous starting out, but Andre was very patient and attentive with my driving. An instructor from a past school made me feel like I was forever an absolute awful driver and made lots of derogatory remarks about my driving, so I decided to change to Acme. Andre completely restored my confidence in taking the wheel only after two lessons. I had Clay to prepare me for my behind-the-wheel test and I passed with only two errors thanks to them! If you have an instructor that doesn't make you feel confident or comfortable at the end of each lesson, they're not doing it right. Acme does it right. I'd also like to add that Corinna was very patient and accomodating with making appointments! (I once briefly mentioned to call me back after 5pm because my work shift ended then, and she remembered for future calls to call me after 5!! It's the little things that count :') ) read more
