I never got around to leaving a review but after hearing what kind of horrible schools other people have to put up with, I want to make sure my facts are heard. This is one of the best if not the absolute best school in Northern California. My friends and I passed the exam all on our first tries and all got jobs within a month of our testing dates. I started with a different school and after two days I realized it wasn't as advertised and pulled out. Came straight to Easy CDL after reading the Google reviews. It was a night and day difference between the awful first school and Easy CDL. Since then I have had more than 5 friends become truck drivers and they all went through this school. Outside there are numerous instructors that fully engage with the students & assist them with the pre-trip, skills or driving as needed. I want to recommend Easy Truck as the best and #1 choice for obtaining your CDL-A license. From the initial phone call with the owner, Ali, to meeting him in person to discuss the process he uses along with his staff to train students to successfully pass the DMV test. After this in person meeting, I was confident this was the place to get me to the finish line, to get my Class A CDL. Ali is on site whereas other school have absentee owners. Ali and his staff, Justin (my fab trainer), Larry (DMV Yard Do, he is the expert) Jeff, Malik, and Nosh from the front office. They all were awesome and very hard working. They have trucks, they have a few different lots, they give you the tools to learn. They care about you passing whereas other schools have no vested interest. I know as I attended another school. Passing in my first try after spending 7 day's studying for me was a refresher, since I gave up my CDL during Covid, but I'd recommend the 14 day course, and fight to drive with the instructor.. ask to make left hand turns too, because you will drive around the block making right hand turns. Ali was very understanding and helped me pass. He wants your money, but will give you all the tools you will need. Watch YouTube videos to understand your backing skills, watch where the tires of the trailer enter the box, align the center or the trailer to the cones, once in the box turn your tractor in, remember.. you can stop, set your brakes and get out to look twice.. and back up/ pull forward too.. don't assume.. it takes practice, over and over again.. initially I was 3 stars because I felt like I wasn't given one on one attention, but after hearing, you passed.. it didn't matter anymore.. so thank you Ali, I recommend this school, especially being $1000's of less.. sure you could go to a truck company and not pay for your schooling, but you use their 53' trailer and sign a 12 month commitment, and if you break the contract, you pay $8000 out of pocket, it only makes sense.. read more

The moment I stepped onto this school as a student I saw and heard people successfully obtaining their CDL! Same as leaving the school on the last day, I saw classmates and myself successfully obtaining our CDL's. This school is the place where you can change your life. This school is pretty much open from sunrise to sunset Monday-Saturday. This school has multiple practice yards and multiple instructors. This school has a great guideline to your pre-trip inspection. Ali and his team of instructors are very informative and supporting. Ali's class meetings are held once every two weeks typically on a Wednesday or Thursday. You'll start learning the moment you meet an instructor. Ask questions and get to know the program of the school and how it is ran. Be patient with Ali and the instructors and classmates (especially when waiting to do your skills) . You can take breaks whenever you want. There are portables for restrooms except at the West Sacramento yard (you'll have to go to the dmv and use their restroom). Ali's pricing is more than fair, keep all of your receipts, make sure you have all of your credentials with you at all times. Stay hydrated because you'll be presenting a speech. Stretch and bring snacks. Stay warm and cozy. Practice with gloves and with no gloves and see what you'll like more and don't forget to always have those 3 points of contact . !!!STUDY STUDY STUDY!!! The pre-trip inspection until you can mesmerize everything without even touching a truck and just sitting down not looking at the guideline. I have a couple of relatives in trucking. So I can honestly say that Easy Truck School IS hands down THE BEST around. They provide training to help you pass the exam and behind the wheel training is second to none!! THE most important part (for me anyway) is that once you've graduated, they WILL provide job assistance. A few places I won't mention (160) charges MORE and from my experience DO NOT provide any assistance w. job placement. All they do is tell you to go to the "trucker app" where you'll find opportunities but out of state. My husband, Shawne attended this school for 2 weeks and passed on his 1st try on his second permit! He had ALL of his points left at the end of the test. Literally passed with flying colors!!! He showed up everyday and put the work in and it paid off. I wish we would have went to Ali earlier because we wasted a few racks going elsewhere for a few hrs of training because it wasn't enough and didn't prepare him for his tests. He kept failing on his 1st permit he wanted to give up but he restarted the whole process to get a new permit and decided to go straight to Ali. Sounds as though you're being defensive you must have something to hide? Your customer service is terrible and you have no remorse. Most companies feel terribly and try and help their customers when they find out their car is stolen. Instead of pointing the finger and blaming the customer. We ended up paying for nothing but a damn headache and nightmare. Does not matter how much you think our car was/is worth you did not take care of it when it was in your hands. We called every day to find out the status of our car but you guys could not figure out how to fix it and were running a game. I thank the lord we have another car to fall back on. We our young business owners and have reputable jobs. I guess it is tough time for you and this is how you get ahead by scamming people. Let me save you some time looking around for truck schools and say that you need to go here! I did the unlimited training and it was worth every penny. I was at Ali's school for 3 weeks, Mon-Fri. By the 2nd week of school I had everything down. You have to study and put in the time to be successful like anything else but you'll be rewarded with the start of a new career. Ali hooked me up after I failed at my first attempt from the other school and was able to squeeze me in with the tight time frame I was in. Great facility. I passed my Class A pre-trip test, skills test, and driving test all thanks to Ali and his team of instructors in a 2 week time frame. Ali is an awesome person that puts the people first. Before I signed up he first told me "before you give me your money, make sure your in it 100% because I don't want to take your money if you're not". Others schools would just take your money and not care whether a person completes the course or not. While attending the school I met people that came from other nearby schools (no name droppong) because they had bad experiences and decided to join Easy Trucking instead. At that point I knew for a fact I joined the right place. To be honest the class was over populated and having some driving time was a bit limited but it didnt stop me from reaching my 2 week mark. You have to fully apply yourself and put in the time and work no matter what reason or obstacle there is. Excuses gets you nowhere, only determination gets you somewhere. The pre-trip instructor, Ms. Collins is an amazing person. Always positive, happy and has a great heart that truly cares for her students. Even when some students strayed away from what she was teaching them, she didn't get negative or mad, she just kept moving along to who ever was still around. She does a great job on helping the students remember the script and advice where to find more information for you to study on your own. The skills instructor, Jeff, is awesome as well that also cares for the students improvements. He will coach you along the way for each maneuver (straight back, alley dock, parallel parking) the first time and then lets you do your thing so you can figure it out but he always comes back when he sees you struggling or if you have questions. The DMV instructor, Gary, is another great person that is part of the team. He will take the time to give you pointers and pretest runs for your actual DMV tests. He helped me out by giving me pointers that helped me passed my test. The whole Easy Trucking team is awesome and it was worth my investment to go with them. read more
