I placed a order for home delivery this pass Friday since it was supposed to be a weekend holiday over $200 of groceries and a good tip for the delivery guy, half of my products came in rotten and some of my items almost out of date who ever did my order shopping at the store from 12 to 2 pm did a bad job :( don't know if they did this on purpose, the manager should know this, what a shame of a worker:( read more

I have shopped at this store since it opened. I find they had the best produce department of any supermarket. I would also like to compliment dairy, seafood, meat, deli and bakery. Have a great pharmacy and staff is another bonus. Recently they did some renovations which shoppers feel as inconvenient and the store views at great experience both in materials and labor. They all accomplished this with as little as possible to the shoppers and in a very expediting manner which had its own hiccups but still moved forward. I look for the whole experience when l have to go grocery shopping because it's my lease favorite thing to have to devote time out of my day to get done. No store in this area gives me this except for Acme at Mays Landing. April read more

I have been coming here since I was a child and I am now in my 30's. It's always clean and everyone is always pleasant for the most part. If I had anything negative to say, it would be the price point is high. People complaining about this location are probably miserable people because I've never had a bad experience. Oh one more thing I don't like is how they changed a few isles from being separated to now being one long isles and I liked it the old way better. read more

I was at the store at 11:45AM. I attempted to get a sandwich from the deli and was told sandwiches wern't ready yet. When I went to the self checkout, there was an unpleasant, sourpuss lady there who had an attitude when asked to help with coupons. She did the coupons but charged me for an extra item, which I did not realize until I got home. This is not good customer service!!!! read more

I have been shopping here for years. I must say I am surprised at these reviews. I have never had anyone be rude to me. Most of the time they go out of their way to help with any issues I have. One complaint I do have is I am only five ft tall and they place the heavy 2 liter soda bottles on the top shelf I have to find someone to get them down for me. The prices are a little more then shop rite but if you follow the sales its not that bad. sometimes they have bogo free it does seem like they hike the price up on these items but most of the time still a good deal. I have never had anything that had mold on it and as I said I have been shopping here for years. I think their meats are much better then shop rite. I do not buy my lunchmeats here I think they are over priced I go up the street and they are half the price at m and s. I do wish they would do a make over on the bathrooms. Over all I am very happy with Acme and will remain a loyal customer. read more

The bathrooms are disgusting they should clean them. They are so rude I shouldn't have to worry about stepping in liquids in isles and when you tell a worker they laugh and wave it off. The workers are so rude I'm a little over weight I shouldn't have a worker say rude things to me as I'm checking out saying "are you sure you should buy that" with a rude look. read more

I am happy to have this Acme so close to my house. It's a convenient location in the Festival Shopping Center across from the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing. The store is always clean and easy to shop, in my opinion. They are reasonably priced, if slightly more expensive than ShopRite. They have a decent selection of gluten free products, as well as a great selection of Hispanic, Asian, and other ethnic foods. Pretty good hot-and-cold buffet back by the deli counter. The hot buffet has chicken tenders, mac & cheese, eggrolls, etc. The cold buffet includes mozzarella balls, cold chicken wings, and an assortment of pasta salads. The in-house bakery has a nice selection of cakes, cookies, muffins, etc throughout the day. The ladies working the bakery are very friendly and helpful and will write on your cake for free. There's usually free samples of something-or-other back here as well. Only 2 complaints I have: there are NEVER enough lanes open. This Acme is perpetually busy, I don't care what time of day it is, and there are never enough lanes. They do have 4 express self-checkouts, but I especially don't feel like using those if I have something that needs to be weighed. I also don't like that the machines yell at me to bag my items, then yell at me to pay them, then yell at me to take my change, then yell at me to take my items. Alright already!! Also, some of the supervisors are really unprofessional. Came here last week and used the self-checkout (I guess this is what I get,) and there was some kind of issue with it. The front end supervisor came over and was helpful, but was swearing the entire time. "What the f***?" "F***ing really?" "I'm sick of this s***." I realize she wasn't swearing at me, but still, not necessary at all. Oh and also tipped in their favor, I never have my SuperCard with me, and a lot of times they'll just scan a random number so I can get the discount. There's also a Redbox at this location with a nice DVD selection!! read more

Clean store, prices are somewhat higher then Shop Rite but the lines are shorter and the store is well maintained. We are seasonal residents and this is the grocery store we prefer read more
