Best frozen food section in all of South Jersey. Makes ShopRite look like a dollar store. The manager should give that worker a raise

hey acme how many times do we have to ask about adding more alani drinks to your shelves instead of the same old ones that no one seems to be buying? like even the sicklerville one has the newer alani drinks like cherry bomb, sherbert swirl, watermelon wave? even shoprite has newer ones? like come on, i work out at the gym next door and get my drink before it-i am tired of seeing all the damn same thing on the shelves but keep seeing vendors put in newer freaking red bulls that no one is buying also- like what's up with this? i have gone to many people asking about this and haven't seen an update. read more

Typical of any large grocery store. Large variety of products, well stocked shelves, plenty of fresh baked sweets. To their credit, they had a large selection of Tastykakes. For those not from the East Coast, you really need to try these. Stocked up for the trip back to the heartland. The store was clean and well maintained. Only had two checkout lines but several self checkouts. I would have given them 5 stars but the only cold pop available were Coke products and we all know it sucks. read more

Oh my goodness! Went to the acme in turnersville this morning at 7:00. There were quite a few people waiting for the store to open. A few minutes after opening time, an employee came to the door and just stared at us, looking exasperated. She did not even say, "good morning." She just went back in, without opening door. When I was finally In the store, there were many employees working in the aisles with carts blocking the shoppers. We had to back up and go back up. There were no cashiers at all. We all had to self check our overflowing carts while employees just watched. What a mess!​ read more

Overpriced! Why? Staff was unfriendly and looked depressed to be working there. Cashierdidn't say hello, coupns... nothing...just looked bummed out. Woman I bought my lottery ticket from was in the same mood I think. Will not return to this location or any Acme at all. I'll stick with Shoprite. So much for trying something new. read more

Favorite ACME. Yes, I live down the street from Wegmans. Yes, I hate grocery shopping with a burning passion. Yes, I have mini-panic attacks whenever I step into the Cherry Hill Shop Rite. Yes, I love this ACME. It makes no sense, really. I grew up in this ACME (well, not literally, but you know what I mean.) I still recognize some of the employees from when I was 5 and they were buddies with my mom. I still understand the layout of the store (!), and everyone's always friendly. Just yesterday, I had the nicest chat in the salad dressings aisle with one of the employees. And yes, Wegmans has salad dressing and nice employees, too, but it's just not... homey. So, yes, I hate shopping for food. But, as a human, some things must be done. This is a good place for such a trip. read more

Favorite place to shop when the sales are good, Which is often. The Monopoly play games are really fun with many free items. The aisles are clean and neat and the choices are different compared to Shoprite. Parking lot is never full and the check out lanes move quickly. Pharmacy staff are friendly and efficient. read more

I guess I'll never learn. I moved to the area about 3 years ago and chose the Acme as my first stop after being familiar with the chain near my former home. I don't understand how this place could be so different and so bad that its stays open. I've tried this store several times and always walk out wondering why I bothered. On the plus side, they have very nice fresh fruit bowls that appear to be made fresh daily in the store. At $7.99 a bowl it's a good deal for good quality. However, service is consistently horrible. If you shop after 8pm there's only 1 register open and the place is vacant of other employees. Tonite was worse. I arrived about 6:30 to encounter a horrible stench at the entrance of a overpowering chemical smell that I guess is to resemble cinnamon. They placed a huge pile of pine cones at the front door loaded with this crap. I can't imagine why anyone would want to buy that stuff and especially in mid August! Maybe you put it outside to chase deer from your shrubs? I held my breath, turned the corner and picked out a couple of the fruit bowls. The good news was the self service checkouts were active. The bad news. They wouldn't scan the barcodes on the bowls and what a surprise, no employees were in sight. I had to hold my breath again, return the bowls and make an escape. I'm not trying that again! I'll stick with the ShopRite at the next corner which seems much more popular, well staffed even if they don't have the same type of fresh fruit bowls. read more

Pharmacy dept is terrible. Just not good. Go to another pharmacy. Cvs Walgreens or rite aide

This would be the 2nd year we buy a Lancaster brand Turkey. We let it thaw for a few days and we were ready to prep Turkey. To our surprise, the Turkey had blue bruises all over making it inedible. The Lancaster brand is not cheap either. We were forced to bake two chickens in the oven. Where can you get a Turkey that is thawed and ready to be cooked on Thanksgiving day? I can't believe they would even package a damaged Turkey like that and ruin a Thanksgiving dinner for someone. Never again will my feet step into an Acme. My money will be invested in Walmart! read more

Horrible people in this store...especially the ones who have been there for years absolutely horrible

This is a pretty good Acme. They have a really nice selection of hot food, the bakery isn't bad, and the produce section is good. Prices are pretty standard for a grocery store. When the Shoprite across the street came in, it was kicking Acme's butt. They did a really nice job catching up, though. Unfortunately, I like the Shoprite better. read more

I always liked shopping here much better than the over crowded Shop Rite across the street. The people are nice and it's a really nice store

Over priced. On the plus side, this place is never busy. The employees always far out number the customers. If you like Acmes, do not waste any time getting to this place. I can not imagine them being open much longer. Too many other places within a few miles with much lower prices. read more
