We've been using their services for the last 5 years and they are always prompt to respond, go above and beyond to help me find a solution, and do it in a cost effective way by offering their distributor pricing. They also happen to be very nice guys that take their shoes off when they come inside and are friendly/chatty. When our expensive outdoor tv stopped working a week after the warranty expired, Joe worked with their distributor to get me a brand new replacement at no cost, including shipping!!! Talk about excellent customer service! We are loyal Ultra customers for life, don't look anywhere else for help with your av needs!

Navigating the rack system, multiple wires and devices, and then the technology behind each device (even those over 10 years old) requires significant knowledge and an understanding of how these systems are built. Thankfully, with Joe and team's many decades of experience, there's no problem too big (or small, Joe said to call him with any questions whatsoever). They go above and beyond, with excellent communications every step of the way and honest and fair pricing. Offering their distributor pricing on needed equipment is an added bonus, along with spot-on recommendations. Their staff in their local home office is great too, with both communications and invoicing. This is our go-to for any technology needs, we are so thankful we found them.

    Bought a couple cheap in ceiling speakers (for Dolby Atmos) from Amazon I wanted installed in my…read moreliving room. Got a bunch of quotes and eventually chose Techs in The Home. They weren't the cheapest (the installer I used before for something broke his foot so couldn't use him unfortunately), but I liked that Donovan seemed to know what he was talking about and felt good about him. They came and started opening things up to see what would work. I wanted the speaker cables hidden in the walls/ceiling and they were able to make that happen. I also had 2 wires ran to the back of the room when I upgraded my receiver. Couldn't position one of the speakers exactly where I wanted cause of a stud, but he made it work. He was also able to snake a bunch of TV wires through the exterior wall on the other side from the previous installers failed on the side they tried. I was super happy about that. After installing the speakers, he patched everything and came back the next day to finish it off. The Dobly Atmos/DTS:X works great! Love watching movies and TV shows with it. After finding a painter who could match the knockdown texture to the rest of the walls/ceilings, it's like they were never here. Already spoke to Donovan about another project and if I decide to go forward on that will be using him in the future.

I wanted an install before Christmas and the owner made that happen. The install team led by Jason was first rate. They gave me a courtesy call before an on time arrival. They installed window treatments in 4 rooms in 2 hours and left my home looking better than they found it with debris removed and everything back in place. When I saw Costco was recommending Best Buy Window Treatments LLC and I read the reviews, I felt confident that this would be a good experience. Boy was I wrong. Beliz, our sales rep came to our house and put together our order. When the technician came to do the final measurements after the order was signed and paid in full, the technician told us that these blinds will not work because they will hit the door handle. So Beliz came back to our house and re-did our order with different blinds. During our fist appointment, Beliz said that she would send us color samples which we never got. After our second order was signed, paid for in full, and ready for production, we reminded Beliz that we never received the color samples that she promised us. Beliz, to our surprise abruptly send us an email saying that she is cancelling our order and refunding our money. We were very shocked because the order was ready for production. This may be about Costco was offering a 20% Shop Card that was expiring and Beliz did not want to honor the 20% due to delays from her mistakes. I have been in sales all of my life and Beliz has no business being in a sales position. She has no sales skills, she was late for all of our appointments, and she made many errors. She told us that by adding motors to our blinds would increase the cost by about $600.00 each. When we received the new quote, the price for each motor was over $1000.00 each. She also told us that the opaque (non-see thru) fabric was not available through Graber. Later she told us it was available. She told us that the new fabric that we picked would be less expensive than out first fabric. When the new quote came back, the new fabric was more expensive. With so many mistakes we completely lost confidence in Beliz. She did not return my phone calls when I had questions, and she seemed very upset when we requested the color samples that she promised us. I left two messages for Beliz's Sales Manager Kathryn but she has not called me back.
