There were quite a few people walking their dogs while we were there. I was surprised to find 2 playgrounds for toddlers and a swing set for a small park. The park does have a covered gazebo but no BBQ grill. Each of the three table can easily seat 8 people. I'm not sure whether reservation is needed or first come first serve. The park doesn't have a parking lot so I parked on the street. Btw, there is no restroom on-site as far as I can see. there is no restroom on-site Overall it is a nice green space for its neighbors.

Baker Ranch Community Park is nestled within the Baker Ranch community. Parking is very limited…read morehere so we try to time it when it's not too busy. The restrooms are clean which is always a plus for a park. BRCP, has many benches/tables for gatherings close enough to where your kids can play. The playground is pretty large for the older kids. There is a little one for the much smaller children off to the side. What I like about this playground though is the flooring. They have this very cushioned floor instead of wood chips. When our kids trip or fall, they don't get badly hurt and they for sure don't get splinters or wood chips stuck in their shoes. Behind the tables is a basketball court that you can easily see from the tables if in case you're worried about your kids running off to play. It's easy to keep an eye on them from there. Beyond what I've already mentioned, I don't know what else this park has to offer because it's as far as we have gone for play dates or birthdays parties at the park. It's a nice place for kids to play. I only wish parking wasn't so limited.

We leave the house, walk a couple blocks, go around the trail at the park, then walk back home! It's the perfect distance for the doggies, my wife, and I to get a little exercise and by the time we get home, our little ones are all tuckered out and mellow! Although my wife is the one to walk them 99.9% of the time, this is a great little exercise for all of us!

Over the years, this…read morepark has been fairly well maintained, but the traffic noise from Alicia Parkway and the 405 freeway is very loud. The sod "baseball diamond" has had the grass removed and has been surfaced with red clay soil. There are no bases and I have never seen anyone playing real baseball or softball there. I think it is a waste of space and should have been left grassy. Dog owners are generally responsible and dog waste bags are provided. Many parents come with small children who use the playground area. As well, the basketball court gets frequent use. Overall, it is a decently maintained area for a short visit.

The equipment is nice and in good condition. There is a large rubber matted playground, with a sandpit next to it and a huge path around grassy fields. The swings are separated from the playground and on their own rubber mat. No bathrooms, but that is normal in these park types. + It is good for walking dogs as it has baggy areas and a little dog fountain. - It has limited picnic benches. - There is really no dedicated "small kid area" it is sort of one big playground without separation. I prefer the one at the top of the hill as it has more of a nature forest feel.

Found this playground and park today and so happy we did!…read more It is small and perfect for my three year old. The playground says it's 5-12 years old but actually was really good for my three year old. The playground does have bathroom, (key access), tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, huge grass area, bbq , gazebo , and close to the walking trail! Parking is limited as it's street parking, but on a weekday we found parking easily. Will be coming back here soon!
